Seatbelt chime is constant

After the latest OTA update (6.13), the seatbelt chime is constant. Live in a gated community with speed limit of 25. While in the community, we rarely use seatbelts. The chime would only be intermittent while we drove. Now it never stops. Does anyone know how to make it stop?

Yes they changed it because too many people ignore the warnings and don’t use their seat belts. You should use your seat belt while driving 25 MPH because you could still get hurt pretty bad in a 25 MPH crash not wearing one.

I was driving my car in a mall parking lot doing 10 MPH, my 5 year old son took his seat belt off before we parked. A damn valet guy ran in front of my car. I slammed on the brake, my son slammed into the seat in front of him.
He didn’t complain of pain, but I’m pretty sure it hurt. Only if the car had told me he took it off. I would have told him to put it on.

You can disable most noises in Forscan. I turned off every noise I could and still manage to remember wear my seatbelt without them.

I consider myself a responsible adult and don't need electronic noises to tell me what to do, but beware this is an unpopular opinion so best to look up what you need to do and make the changes quietly.

I was told not to turn off the reverse or low-speed noise as well, but so far I haven't killed anyone with that either.

You need to pull the rear speaker plug and then disable the warning via Forscan:

That speaker broadcasts the low-speed noise and reverse chime, so 2 for 1 disable.
