I hate the new UI on the drivers front screen.

I liked how my screen looked before an update ruined it for me. I was used to seeing a blue bar along the bottom of the screen with the amount of battery remaining. My speedometer showed the speed right in the center of the screen. Now I have a car in the center of my screen and my speed is pushed all the way to the right where now my steering wheel blocks it. WHY FORD!? I hate it, it's a total waste of space. Unless there is something I'm missing. In the past I could get out of that screen layout by pressing the lane assist button and turning it off, then the screen would go back, but now it's stuck this way. I really hope I missed something.

The good news is that updates are working! The bad news is that there was already a hissie-fit train and you weren’t on it.

It sucks. Unfortunately we are stuck with it. Hopefully it’s only temporary and they will push out an update to fix it. Until then all you can do is use the record feedback app on the touchscreen to send in polite feedback saying how much you don’t like it. You can also call the customer relations number and give feedback there. 800-392-3673

What I hate is that we now have so many threads on the change in the IPC. Clearly people don't see any value to read. They only want to vent. If they read, or even searched, they would know how many people had already posted about this already.

Yeah, I actually did search, but I guess my keywords were not accurate. After your comment, I went and did a deep dive and found all of the threads. I'm glad to see so many of us hate it. Maybe Ford will listen. Just a dumb idea. If it ain't broke, why fix it?

I joined because I finally had something I needed to say. I've been browsing since May 2023. I bought my MACHE CR1 in July. Oh, my battery is draining by the way. I know people are complaining about that in another thread. July'23 300@100% - January'24 289@100%. Still love the car more than my 2023 Tesla Model 3.

Your battery isn't "draining." Unlike Tesla, when your car is at 100% Ford tries to give you an accurate estimation based on your driving history and current weather conditions. Tesla simply gives you the number you want to see so that you don't ask questions or worry, with the hopes you don't routinely drive it enough to notice it's not accurate.

If you were in a cold weather climate, you'd see something like 180-200 miles at 100% right now.

PS: I hate the new UI too.

You could have changed it before (by turning off lane assist). Now you can't.
