Oooh. You're a backer-inner.![]()
Yesterday was the day around here. Temp was 35 so the water hit water I hauled from the bathtub to the garage didn’t feeeze on the floor.
No, you're not. But the dude knows his roads. I'm sure he considered that.Great post!
A couple of things would concern me during deep snow driving - a low clearance and a potential need to pull the car from a ditch from the back side. And, related to low clearance, a chance that a big chunk of ice (or something worse) in the deep snow will hit the battery.
Am I wrong about it?
It ISSSS an electric type ?‍![]()
sooo good!
No no no. This year marks two years with Lime Green. Rewrap NEXT year. 2025. I’ll be 50 and ready for something a little more subdued. But… Inquiring minds want to know: When to re-wrap later this year, what color is it going to be Rod? ??
...one of the reasons I added a receiver hitch as an early mod. I wanted a tow hook in back in case I bury the front end in a snowbank!Great post!

It would have to be more than 6" dia, and pretty hard to break front lip. My thoughts on that are if I am in 6" snow, I won't be going too fast to stop or go around a 6+" ice chunk. And, related to low clearance, a chance that a big chunk of ice (or something worse) in the deep snow will hit the battery.

Like MoPar “Plum Crazy?” ??No no no. This year marks two years with Lime Green. Rewrap NEXT year. 2025. I’ll be 50 and ready for something a little more subdued.
Actually, the new Mountain Ice tires are studless and grip better than studs do. Studs are getting outlawed in a lot of countries due to the road surface damage they cause. You can actually see the groves they create in the spring here in NY. Forcing annual resurfacing. When there's ice, only studded will do. That's one reason I like the Winterforces; they're stud-ready. And also they're cheaper![]()
yeah... I have to fight the muscle memory of lifting off when it starts to slide... when snow comes it goes in 2pd... I can shift in to neutral and just use brakes when going downhill on icy/snowy passes.I also really like 1PD in the snow as you can perfectly adjust the torque on the wheels. I think some have learned over their years of driving ICE to take their foot off the gas when you begin to slide, which is (should be) obviously a bad idea with 1PD.
Maybe I’ll switch from Lime Green to SubLime.Like MoPar “Plum Crazy?” ??
it's nice to see you watching @Ford Motor Company .....Love this! ? Thank you for sharing these pics with and for being part of the Ford family!
Kind of how I'm a Sub-Standard Poodle (aka Miniature). ??Maybe I’ll switch from Lime Green to SubLime.
