Never said they should. And they definitely don’t have to.

Just that they did before, so it’s at least somewhat reasonable to do the same thing when they significantly changed MSRP this time.

Ford set a precedent last time.

I wouldn’t expect it either. But I’m sure we have all had that buyers remorse feeling at some point in our lives when we bought something at the wrong time.

And if they did offer a price match or whatever, I would happily take it, but no, I wouldn’t demand nor expect it.

I have access to xplan through my employer. Many of the dealers I have talked to tell me they are beating xplan by a lot already. I already have OTD quotes showing $8000 under the new MSRP's. If there is somehow a way to get the extra xplan incentives ($2750 rebate) on top of dealer discounts I would like to know.

You need a friend who works for Ford to get that one. I wish I could find a dealer here who could beat X-Plan.

It does show up as an xplan incentive on the fordpartner.com site. No mention of that.

You need to make sure apples are apples.

X-Plan, or A-Plan (or any other "plan") is BEFORE INCENTIVES (assuming they apply for that plan). Incentives are NOT dealer discounts. So, if Ford offers a new MSRP, that's not a dealer discount (or an incentive). If Ford offers $X,XXX off, that's an incentive.

Make sure any "dealer discount" doesn't get offset by a massive paperwork fee. X-Plan limits that to $100. Or a crappy trade-in price. Or dealer add-ons.
