Tesla and a Ford, I was looking at the map that shows which chargers we have access to, and I was surprised it wasn't all. In my City, we have 5 supercharging locations, and my Mach-E only has access to 3 of those. What I found even more interesting is all 3 of those chargers I have access to no longer offer Time of Day pricing. Those are all flat rates, so where my wife could charge as cheap as 14 cents during off-peak times, now is a flat rate of 29 cents and 36 cents for my Mach-E.

That does encourage Tesla drivers to avoid the ones us Ford drivers have access to but it also sucks for Tesla owners. I am curious to see if they have updated the Tesla navigation system to favor the Tesla-only stations.

Full disclosure my sample size was small, because I don't know of other stations around me with time of day pricing.

My sister has a lake house in Meredith, NH on Winnipesaukee. There is an Irving gas station down the road from her place with Superchargers. I think they are new so hopefully V3 chargers I can try the adapter on.

I live in Meredith and know that location well. It's listed as a 250kW on various apps and according to Tesla: V1 / V2 superchargers have a max of 150kW and V3 are up to 250kW - but I just set up the Tesla App and that location does not show as compatible with Mach E (yet Ashland and Thornton do)....so there must be another attribute that I'm missing....

Looks like they're not including the ones at I-95 rest stops yet. Which is fine because I won't get my adapter until summertime. Hopefully the map will expand a bit in the next 3-4 months

I guess it will be a long wait but worthwhile.

You are in the 8000s, why would there be a long wait? They have to produce, what, 200,000 units to satisfy the vehicles that are on the streets as of today? When they start shipping its not like they are going to be shipping a hundred at a time.

I ordered mine through the app. No confirmation email received. Now the link to order one is dead. If it shows up within six months, I’ll be surprised. I did order one from Lectron for $200. Something will happen… and maybe this will be a thing this summer. I’ll update as the process progresses.

My confirmation email was in my junk folder. There is a live link to check order status there. Order 5915 due May 2024.

I checked my plug and charge Through Blue Oval on the FordPass account. The Tesla network is showing up as ‘Available’. Lectron adapter has not shipped.

Two hours of trying, got my reservation. While reading my online newspapers I just kept trying every time I finished an article. I kept the left hand tab open the 'how to get a reservation' link, so only one step for each try.

Switched to my Mac and Safari (from Windows/Edge) and got through first time...wtf?

Yeah, I tried Edge for an hour, switched to Chrome, still on PC, and got through 1st try.

Ordered mine via Fordpass. No order number or ship date but happy to just get into the queue. Thanks to those that posted about the back door to ordering it via the App. I would have spent the day, hitting refresh on the damn crashed website.

As someone said, Ford is a car company that does software (badly) and Tesla is a software company that does cars (some would say badly but I will leave that judgement to those that own them and history).

From the previous posts and my experience, there is something funky going on with cookies/cache. If you get the "sorry try again" page/message it seems to stick in that state for too long. Suggestions:

1) try from the Ford Pass app
2) try a different browser (no stale cookies/cache)
3) try incognito mode
4) delete all cookies/data/cache for ford.com sites
