Hit the refresh button when it tells you to... it will work eventually

I ordered mine around 12:30 EST today, order no. 90014998 that might arrive in June.

Isn't there an adapter we can buy? I thought I saw one a few months ago...

Ordered my adapter 2h after Kyle's video went live. Order Number #15182. Canada based here...

Estimated to ship by July =/

Well, won't complain much as this is free after all. Just hope they ramp up production and are able to ship it earlier.

Guess I didn’t realize it until now but V3 and V4 stations a bit rough in the Midwest along major interstates.

I-80 from Iowa city IA to Kearney NE - 430 miles
I-90 anything west of MN - 900 miles
I-70 Oakley KS to Denver - 250 miles
I-80 north Platte NE to Salt Lake City - 650 miles
I-80 Salt Lake City to Fernley NV - 500 miles

The more I look at this I-80 is going to rely on CCS charging. I find that odd for such a major interstate

Omaha, Des Moines, come on guys! You are good size cities with no V3 or V4 chargers?
And the EA station in Rock Springs WY still hasn't opened as the missing link. Been finished since last June, just no power.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but they have a pretty reasonable guess of the number of vehicles they're giving these to, right? I mean, seems like not the hardest demand estimate to make.

If they needed two more months to have enough, then wait. Or roll it out geographically based on proximity to superchargers or frequency of fast charging. Information I'm pretty sure they have good access to as well.

So many ways that don't involve a mad rush, crushed servers, and extended undeclared wait times.

Sorry, @Ford Motor Company, not a great product roll out. From a customer's point of view.

That said, thanks for the adapter- that's pretty excellent. And thanks for taking the step and switching to NACS. Someone had to deo it, and it is the better system.

I got my reservation in first try this evening, so that worked. Confirm came quickly, indeterminate delay. So, not as good there.

Do you have a _Blue Oval Charge Network - Plug & Charge_ account?

You have to have an account and a credit card on the account, or you can't order the adapter. If you try to log into the ford.com site without the account, the website issues an "ooops" message and says to try again later...

I think I saw an article that says Tesla is paying for the adapters. Could be wrong.
Tesla makes the adapters. I assume Ford is buying them from them, like any supplier part.

Does anyone have any idea what Tesla's charging rates are like compared to other charger networks? I realize EV charging rates vary a lot depending on time and location but I'm wondering on average how they compare. It would be nice if there was a way to check the rates when planning a route especially if they are significantly more expensive than others for non-Tesla drivers.

On a side note I'm assuming that existing charging credits available on our accounts for the Blue Oval Network will not work at Tesla chargers even though they will be part of the network.

Well, I have a Model 3 Tesla...and other charging network costs per kWh...only what I have seen on the actual chargers...the ones in my area are about 15% more than Tesla. Last time I used Tesla SuperCharers in my home state of Oregon..from 34 to 38 cents per kilowatt hour. Welcome to the best charging network available.

Usually a bit higher than EA, but it varies by station. You can look it up...
