And I guess the Ford system got crashed yesterday because 25,000 orders came in. I got my confirmation message that it’s reserved.
Yes. I tried to reserve 3 times but the system was overloaded. I waited until evening then the order system was available. Ha! I was probably the last person to place an order.

Glad you were able to get it ordered

I've now watched 4 different videos (Tom, Kyle, MachE-vlog and some bald guy) and not a single failure. Every single charge worked the 1st time in all 4 videos. #ElectrifyAmerica should be having their walk of shame today!!! Head down and not speaking to any one!! ? ? ?
Weird. I just did a 1600 mile round trip and I didn't have a single problem with EA. We charged at about 12 different super chargers.

The issue we did run into on two occasions was distance between chargers. In one case we made it with 4 miles of range remaining and the other it was 10 miles remaining. That was a bit stressful. Seeing the distance to charger milage and the battery mileage shrink from about 40 miles down too 4.

Luckily it only happened twice and we had not a single charger issue. With only my experience I could give EA 10/10 rating.

Once had 2 P&C failures in 2 tries at EA stations this week. 2/2 P&C success at Superchargers. I’m wondering if the Supercharger Power Up (DC-CHG4) has messed up the EA certificate? Ford is looking into that.
I suspect they will confirm the problem: EA sucks. Maybe CHG4 did something, but I have had the same problem before receiving that update.

Seriously, this process seems so simple and straightforward. Thus, I am looking forward to receiving my adapter, and more importantly, trying it on a 9 hour road trip (I have been putting it off).

In other news, surely Electrify America are having some tense internal conversations...

Dude, you must be new to this game!!! There is no question the EA has improved their charger network. But anyone who has been dealing with EA over the last 3 years is like a dog that has been beaten. The hand goes up to get pet and the dog pulls away.

Curious, during your 12 stops were ALL the chargers at each stop working properly? None of them were "out of service"? I remember when I 1st started using EA and was in South GA and called EA to let them know a charger was down. Their response, " yeah, it's been down for about 3 months, we know". Like, What THE F****!!!! #FIRSTIMPRESSIONS

In 2021 I took my first road trip with my Mach-e, and when I stopped at the Gainesville station the tech was there. He said he'd been there for 5 hours, and when he got there 3 were down and an asshole left his porsche connected to the only working one long after it was done charging. In that time he managed to get another charger working, but in his words "I would never buy an EV these chargers are horrible". Apparently he was at that site a lot repairing the same broken chargers constantly.

So yeah, I get what you mean about first impressions. However, we were able to find a working charger at each stop, but at the time there were far fewer CCS cars on the road I imagine there are waits for good ones now.
