How to confirm that the software on MachE Nav is updated with the Tesla chargers available?

When you say "Ford app in the car" do you mean Navigation or Charge Assist? AFAIK Supercharger locations are not in Navigation yet, but they are in Charge Assist.

No, I am going to the home screen and looking for the "Charge Assist" there. Your screen shot shows it nicely. That is why I was thankful that you displayed it. There are a bunch of people in the same situation. I think Ford only updates cars in blocks so as to not crash their servers.
It does not inspire confidence. I have to live with this car for another 45 months so I am hoping they get better.

So in that case you won't see them in the car yet, but you could find one in the FordPass App, then send the route to the car and navigate to it. Not ideal, and I've not tried it, but it should work.

FYI Charge Assist is going to be renamed "Public Charging" soon. Perhaps in the process of refreshing the app/name it'll get pushed out to cars which don't already have it? Just speculating on that part.

Sounds like rubber bands and bubble gum. LOL In the silence from Ford, the void is filled with speculation. Not what you would expect from a responsible corporation.

Yes, press the home button and it should be an app listed.

You can also find superchargers in the FordPass or Tesla apps.

Unless it never got pushed to your vehicle.

All I'm saying if you think the Tesla is a superior product, switch. The grass may (or may not) be greener on the other side.

As for Charge Assist, we should all have it by now, so I'm not sure why yours is MIA. As far as I know there was no OTA that added it (the original thread explains it) so I'm not sure why you don't see it.

Maybe post a screen shot of your display?

I was in the beta for it on my car. So it has it.

It still isn't on my '22 Lightning as of today. And that vehicle is in EA as well.

Unfortunately Ford is not consistent with Updates. Reputation is so important and Ford is doing less than what they should be.

FordPass asks me to use Google, Apple Maps, or Waze.

So, after thorough testing, I can unequivocally conclude that it doesn't work.

I am not saying you are speculating. What i am saying that when there is a silent void, most times people will fill the void with speculation. Who knows why some get updates and others don’t. I dare say that no one knows why there is an inconsistency. I suggest we deserve better since it was a large investment made to get their product. Would you not agree?

I absolutely agree. And while I somehow have been "lucky" to get a steady stream of updates over the past year and a half, I'm always perplexed to hear about other members who have not seen regular updates at all. The Charge Assist thing is particularly F'd up.

Sometimes I wonder if it's my address - I'm a stone's throw away from Ford Canada's head office. Maybe they see my address and prioritize the updates just in case...

The Tesla Plug & Charge update is ready to install, maybe that will also get me Charge Assist, or Public Charging.
