I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this or found a fix.
Since I got a number of updates in mid January I started having CarPlay issues where it would connect over and over and over making it hard to use. It would eventually settle down.
Note iOS 17.3 came out around then to.
Well with more updates recently to the car and 17.4 out now it’s basically unusable at times. Neither restarting the phone nor infotainment fixes it. When it does work doing things on the phone (15 pro) can cause CarPlay to break.
This isn’t purely an iOS issue though. Because my phone works perfectly in a Honda CR-V. It’s the combination of the two, I think. I don’t have another phone to check in the Mach E on CarPlay.
Note: I only use wired CarPlay, plugging and unplugging the phone won’t fix it either.
