Hello Mach-Lee,

I appreciate your reply, but I am not convinced you are correct. Do you have the ability to diagnose my car specifically as your response seems to imply that you have or are you speculating based on your experience with these matters? I have had this happen before, (and I am the only one), and it was not a mechanical issue, but a software one. The indicator light was not on before I plugged in, and it was on when I unplugged and turned on my car. In other posts through this forum, I have noted others instances where the charger triggered this fault. The most recent update to my car's software from Ford has a bug fix for this specific issue due to certain chargers causing this fault. That update occurred after my fault was triggered. Unless you have specifically checked my car's computer, I am inclined to believe this is a software issue and not a mechanical one.

Lee has access to PTS and can check what Ford's got logged for any specific VIN. He's helped a lot of forum members to diagnose their issues. ??

Yes. You had a code for invalid gear shift module monitoring data. 2021s had some issues with the GSM hardware and software causing powertrain faults. It appears yours was updated, but sometimes it's the hardware. Other than that, lots of communication codes. I see you had the vehicle serviced today, they updated some things and tried to realign your radar sensor.

In your history I see they did something with the radio antennas in January to fix bad reception? Faults started after that? It's possible they damaged or disturbed wires then that are causing intermittent connections and communication faults. You also had the windshield replaced and roof resealed, there's also risk of wire damage during those repair procedures.

You had almost all the software updated to latest now, so let's see if things are good now or not. You've never received an OTA before?

And FYI, your vehicle was flagged for battery cell harvest due to detected voltage fluctuations. You may want to consider that one: Harvest Program 23H06 - Battery Module Replacement
Hello Mach Lee,

I believe you are looking at the wrong vehicle. I did not have dealer service yet in 2024, so what you have reported must be for a different car. How can I provide you with my VIN privately?

Also, what is PTS? How have you been given access? I am new to the forum and have lots more to learn.

OK, now that I have the right vehicle, you have a P0ADA code for the HVBJB failing. You'll have to get that replaced. It was replaced once already in Nov 2022. See this:

You can drive it with the power limit in place until your appointment, that's usually not an issue. Call Ford after getting your dealer appointment and make a case with the BEV team.

Update: Took my Mach-e on March 21st to the Phil Long Ford Dealership to address this issue. As someone who depends a great deal on their car, I was reluctant to take it in because of my previous repair experience that took over a week. I understand the new technology takes some adjustment for the dealers, so accept the longer maintenance visits. Well, It is April 2nd, and my car is still in service. They ordered and replaced the original issue, but now the rear driver side break is locked and they cannot figure out how to get it unlocked. They have restarted the computer and inspected wiring, and no solution. This is a problem for Ford if they want to compete in the EV market. Going on two weeks without my bought and paid for car. Not a happy customer.

Hello Lee, I am having the same issue I believe. I have a warning to service vehicle soon, it lacks power on acceleration on the highway again, and the vehicle diagnostics on the App say the vehicle is in perfect health. Could you plug my VIN into your system to see if you can see if there is a fault report? I really depend on my car, so dreading having to take it in again and they keep it another week or two like they have the past two times.

You have a P0AA4 code for a stuck contactor. This means the HVBJB should be replaced again for the third time. What is your driving style like? Looks like you have 20,000 miles on it since the last time earlier this year, and you drive 30,000 miles per year?

Hi there! Will you send us a message with your VIN and your local Ford dealer? I can look into things on my end.
