Interesting that it only inhibited 4 minutes. I usually put the “available by” minutes, which according to OP’s screenshots is 8 minutes, but it rarely seems to take the full time.

When I update the ICE trucks OTA history, I always put the actual downtime and not what the notes say. That is why I always tell you how long it actually takes when something new pops up.

Just went out to the car to test something with expired navigation and I get a pop up that 24-PU0121-FTDI-FX is ready to install.

It's installing now. Based on the description, I'm guessing they modified the 12V charging algorithm to use the HVB to power or charge 12V so OTA updates can come through and install more seamlessly.

This is on a 2021 Job 1 (built December 2020) in EA with the last # update received being 6.4.0 in January 2024.

Looks like it was a body control module update so yes according to the description could be something to do with the 12v BMS.

Its funny too it says up to 2.5 hour inhibit but its a tiny update that shouldn't take long at all.

It said it would be an 8 minute inhibit update, not 2.5 hours.

Same. I had to re-link my phone to the profile a few months ago and ever since then the correct profile is active even if I remote start.

I think newer cars shipped with a fix. I had the issue 100% of the time with my '21 job 1. My late '22 build has never had the issue. Since your profile shows you have a '22, you likely have a fix from the factory just like my '22.

I am glad the module part numbers are posted in these threads. I updated the GFM in November 2023 and the BCM last month via FDRS to the aforementioned parts numbers.

I’m assuming this update allows for better 12V battery charging perhaps before an update is installed to avoid the risk of it failing.

As a few others have mentioned, the only time my profile isn't selected when I remote start has been when my phone got somehow unlinked to my profile. But so many people say they have this problem even with the phone linked; makes me wonder if early built cars have an additional challenge with this feature.

Yay for another update. However I haven't received it yet.

Noticed that the tire pressure shows blank in the app after this update and online vehicle status shows 9502 for each tire pressure. Not sure if this is a side effect of the update or a different issue… never observed this behavior before .

By pressure I assume you mean tire pressure. Mine is normal, 40 psi all around.
