My Blue Cruise subscription does not expire for another few months, but because I enjoy it I plan to renew. My question is: What are the criteria to qualify for the $600 for three years deal? I have a 2021 premium job 2.

You must not have been able to purchase the 3yr when purchased. My 2021, when purchased wasn’t available yet. Then it was added later and given a free one year trial, then extended. SO when that ended we were given option to purchase the 3yrs $600 at end of December. I think all those ended end of December 2023.

I've got a 2022 and BC expires May of 2025. I admit I will miss it. I don't use it for long stretched often. More often for things like getting my jacket off while driving (click on and then click off). But even in that manner, it is a nice tool to have. It's just not $800/year nice. I'm not even sure Level 3 would be worth that.

Mine expires March of 25 - I may try the route of comma.ai, I have a friend who would install it, and then might try wireless android at the same time, so cancel BC and Connected Nav.

When does the option to renew show up in your Ford Pass account?

Ford really screwed us over by promising it would be $600 for three years and then more than tripling the price. As much as I like BlueCruise $800 for one year is insane and unjustifiable. I hope no one buys it at that price.

I live in a remote area with zero BC-usable road. When I was looking to upgrade at my dealer last month they had two Job 2 '23s that came with the 3 years BC from the factory and I just flat refused to pay $2,400 for a feature I was somewhat unlikely to ever get to use.

I might pay $600 for three years. That's still a lot, but I'll admit in that time I might manage to actually use it the odd time.

Wait is that what it is up to now? Yeah I was fine with $600 or $800 for 3 years, but $800 for one? Comma.ai here I come!

I just got it, my trial version expired March 22. Still expensive, but not outrageous and we plan to do some longer road trips in the next couple of years, so I figured it was worth it.

You must not have been able to purchase the 3yr when purchased. My 2021, when purchased wasn’t available yet. Then it was added later and given a free one year trial, then extended. SO when that ended we were given option to purchase the 3yrs $600 at end of December. I think all those ended end of December 2023.
I'm not sure what you mean by "I think all those ended end of December 2023."

My trial expired at the end of 2023. I have not renewed but the $600 offer for 3 years is still available in my account.

If my car gets the updates necessary for 1.4 (it only has the 1.0 software available at present) and I decide to keep the car when my Options in up in June, I'll renew at that price ($600) if/when I expect to do any significant BC-enabled highway driving.

I bought one of the first GT's in September 2021 and paid $2000+ for Blue Cruise. Waste of money since it has not been updated. Goes on and off randomly so I don't bother using it. Can't trust Ford anymore so not going to extend it until I am sure it works. Considering how much I paid I feel cheated by Ford waiting for version 1.2 then 1.3 and now 1.4, I guess? This is not how you sell cars or treater your customers

In addition to the $600/3-year option I see a $75.00 a month option which I hope I can activate/deactivate as needed. I haven't yet tested this but if I'm going on a long road trip (for example, I'm relocating from Dallas to Portland in a couple months and will probably drive the MME, hopefully I will have my NACS adapter by then, but I'm still on my original HVBJB and can't get them to commit to the recall) I can see activating it for a month and then disabling it until the next one.

Does anyone know if this is something that can be enabled/disabled on demand more than once? If you leave it on you're spending $900/year which is more than the current cost for the new MMEs so I assume that's just the "monthly premium" for having the option, but I'm afraid to try it in case I lose the option again, or worse, lose the $600/3-year option.

Interestingly enough, a rep from Ford called recently to try to get me to sign up for the $600/3-year option but since I'm about to move I didn't want to spend that much money. They gave me a 30-day trial (I haven't seen if it's activated yet) to "reacquaint" myself with it. I did inquire about when BC1.4 would be available and he wasn't sure but says the buzz was near the end of this year. I like BC but I'm reluctant to pay for the version I have installed.

When i read the information it sounded like to me the offer ended when the BC expired. So I bought it then. Glad it still shows available in yours.
