It's the temp, whether you buy it or not. ?

Here's one I've never seen before. Last night, I plugged my car in and charged it to 100% because I'm going on a trip today. Before I went to bed, I checked FordPass to make sure the car had changed to 100%. It had, and FordPass reported "Charge Complete 100% 280 Mi". This morning, when I woke up, I checked FordPass again, and it reported "Charge Complete 100% 275 mi". What happened to my 5 miles? The car was sitting in the garage all night, on the FCCS.
It was explained. It’s a bit more involved than “oh, the temperature in your garage varied by 2 degrees” ?It's the temp, whether you buy it or not. ?
The GOM (guessometer) is constantly guessing and changing values just like it did on my trucks and PHEV. They are not and never will be a hard number. I have a GT and my number ranges from 270 to 295 on my driving. And yes, it will change during the day or night. It has little to do with the miles you will actually get same as the guessing for an ICE. It is not battery degradation. The only hard number to watch is the % of battery remaining. Everything else is an estimate. If I pull away from a light quickly I can see the number go down just a bit. If I am in unbridled and in the city it goes up. I look at it as a curiosity same as in an ICE.Not buying the whole temp thing. First, my garage doesn’t get that cold. Second, I checked the car around 1:00 AM.
This is what I do. I view the GOM more as a curiosity than anything else. I just found it odd that it changed while the car was sitting quiescent, powered off.The GOM (guessometer) is constantly guessing and changing values just like it did on my trucks and PHEV. I just looked at mine and in from of my eyes my % dropped from 59 to 58 but my miles increased from 159 to 162. The computer updated with its latest information. Doesn’t mean I’m leaking energy nor does it mean that I can suddenly drive farther. Computers are constantly purring. This is what I do. I view the GOM more as a curiosity than anything else. I much prefer an explanation along the lines of Maxwell’s Demons ?I just looked at mine and in from of my eyes my % dropped from 59 to 58 but my miles increased from 159 to 162.
