Welcome to the world of big companies working together to keep things tight. As much as they joke about each other they are also working together. Phone, cable,we can go on and on.
That is the point.
I do like the collaboration. I think that's the future.

Honestly, you shouldn't let others dictate what you want to post about. If they don't want to read it, they can skip it, or 'ignore' you all together. You should feel free to post whatever you want in regards to the Mach E / Ford.
Agreed. I was simply stating that complaining to us about the same thing, many times and in many different posts, is frustrating me. But that's just me. Feel free to continue discussing whatever, as long as we're civil and understanding that we're each different.

If communication seems insufficient and is frustrating, let the marketing department know. They have a phone line dedicated to Mustang Mach-E. It's the same phone number listed throughout the Mach-E ordering and FAQ pages: 800-392-3673. Give them your feedback if you think it might help affect change for you and others in the future.

I apologize. I think my initial response may have been taken more harshly than was intended.

No need to apologize....we're all friends here :) Great idea on the 800 number by the way. After enough phone calls, someone is bound to get the message. Use social media as well. Mike Levine and Emma Bergg are fairly responsive.

Dealer and its auto-generated, not ford. Move on troll.
If you're referring to me I take great offense at that! You are an invaluable resource for this forum and I thank God we have you. But to accuse me of being a troll goes over the line! You never ordered a Thunderbird so you don't know what the hel# you're talking about! I did and saw first hand how those people were treated. Fast forward 20 years and a new rollout is occurring only this time it's a Mustang. A little more information wouldn't be that hard for Ford to do; not for me but for many of the others on this forum who are very frustrated and angry. If you weren't, then I apologize.

I have received 1, 3, and 4 just like you.

My car has been built for two weeks now, haven't gotten an email on that yet.

Troll? In what *possible* way is this a trolling message, other than my dealer is starting to troll me by asking if I still want the car that's sitting in Mexico with my name on it?

Ford corporate needs to understand that dealer communication does impact customers' view of the brand, period. I think they know that, since they have so many coaching sessions with the dealers.
I don't know if me or you was being accused of being a troll but it's just not true!

Agreed. I understand how you could be tired of hearing my firsthand account when I ordered my Thunderbird so I'll try to keep my anger bottled up. As far as contacting Ford, I'll call that number (thank you) but don't kid yourself; Ford monitors this board and knows EXACTLY what we're thinking/talking about.

And which auto manufacturer does this? Hear ford being said, Tesla does not do that. So sounds more like it should be said I wish all Auto manufacturers would do it.
You make a valid point in that we have an unfairly high expectation of Ford and not of all others. Perhaps some have likewise complained quietly about other manufacturers of interest.

That said, Ford has an email of every reservation holder as well as online account owners so it should be easy to issue monthly or regular communication...not daily or weekly. Just an update whether good or bad news.
Fact is, Mach E is an extremely important new product and a superb undertaking in our opinion on the forum. Keeping holders updated is a great to continue to foment valuable emissaries of the ME. And it is obvious that many of us really like this car and are eager to get ours. Some criticism is warranted but should be tempered with the fact that we are in a pandemic and that Ford has made tremendous progress under the circumstances. But their marketing and sales folks should know that communications is always critical and important.

I definitely thank you, @hybrid2bev, @ChasingCoral, @Administrator and a host of knowledgeable fellow members who have their ears to the ground and keep us in the know.

so your vehicle is built. it's coming just wait.
you spend so much time on this I guess all other items you buy are right. I hate to be with you if you went to McDonald's and they told you the shake machine is down and didn't send you an email

Horns of hell riding with you.?

Tesla's first deliveries were horrible and delays. Did you go hound them also? are you then now with another window open on your computer giving them hell for their problems?

I'm fine with the information Ford has put out. They have done a lot of informational events that were useful. Would I like more, sure.
I would really like more information from my dealer. I think they are the weak link. I think Ford expects the dealers to be in contact with us.
My dealer sends me hilarious emails asking me if I'm still interested in a mustang and they try to schedule a test drive. Lol... Sometimes I respond. ?

I think a big part of the reason that you're getting less communication from Ford than some other people seem to be getting is because you placed your order through a dealer instead of directly through Ford online. I'm not saying that was wrong, but it seems that Ford is relying on their dealers to provide the communication for these types of orders.
