How can you tell what software update you have. According to Ford, I have all of the updates including the March 5th Tesla Supercharger update and my phone still doesn't work - total static. Car is a 2021 Mach E and phone is a Moto G fast. I asked Ford if they could tell me what phones work with tyhe vehicle and they guaranteed me that it isn't the phone, it's the car.

You don't have 6.14 yet as it hasn't started going out OTA to 21MY yet

Thanks for that. Any idea when it may be available? I did get a new phone for my wife so she could use it in the car, but I am holding out hoping that there will be a fix soon. Also, when I was talking to Ford, I could have sworn they were talking about 4.xx updates not 6.xx.

I realize updates are on hold, but it's been 6 months since this was posted, and it means that for 6 months I have not had access to a basic function that a no-frills 15-year-old used car would have.

I am normally supportive or at least understanding of Ford's EV and software engineering situation, but this is becoming unforgivable.

Bluetooth compatibility troubleshooting and resolution is old hat at this point.

I am begging you @Ford Motor Company, please resolve.

Not sure if the APIM update for 6.1.4 is on FDRS, but I have the software and hardware for FDRS, so if you'd like, I can help flash the update. I know we shouldn't have to jump through hoops like this, but as a fellow static-over-Bluetooth victim, I know how painful it is...

I suspect it's either 6.1.4 or there was an OTA fix update around "audio issues" a few weeks ago that I am hoping addresses it.

I might take you up on the update offer and appreciate it. Let's see when the updates "all clear" comes from Ford, and we can go from there.

As far as @Bruboy's report, it's frustrating that my Job 1, 2021 has it, let alone a 2023. Sorry to hear that it's impacting you too.

I managed to get 6.1.4 before any holds happened, and I can confirm that fixed it for me, thankfully.
