It’s going to be over 100 deg F in the Arizona desert soon. I’d like to be able to leave the A/C on while I go into a store. Cost of electricity is not a problem for me, because I use generated excess solar power (that would ordinarily go to the grid) to charge the MME at a rate of $.01/kWh.
I found I can leave the car running for 30 min and then restart it remotely for another 30 minutes when extended. Evidently the lights stay on when it is remotely started, but that’s OK. Haven’t tried to continue to restart again and again but I suspect it will work.
