At least once a day or more, my screen will not function when I start the vehicle i.e. no backup camera or sensors. It’s useless to have a vehicle that you have to reset the screen every other time you start the car. Has anyone had this issue repaired?

How hot has it been inside the car when it fails?

I have an 'early' build that was part of a batch that had 'bad' chips in the center console screen. I would fail if I parked facing sun, or drove south for a long time. The display temp would climb to about 140F, and go black.

Dealership replaced the whole display under warranty in about 1/2 day

Mine does it a few times a week. Not typically that hot - was happening during winter too. Honestly, one of my biggest complaints about the car. It happens at random times too, not necessarily just when it starts up.

Yes it happens to me as well. Not once a day but a couple times a week. Very annoying. Tho not sure what to do about it. Unless it’s a known defect it seems like it’s hard to know what the issue is.

You know how to reset it when it happens without restarting the car right? Hold volume down and next button for about 3 seconds. It will reboot.

Which next button should I be looking for?
When mine does this the screen and the volume button are inoperable.

It’s the buttons on your steering wheel. The “next” or “seek” button is right by the volume control lever on the steering wheel. Hold the volume lever down and the next button for 3 seconds or so at the same time.

The screen and all the functions can be completely inoperable but It will still work.

here I found a video:

What troubleshooting steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I mean what can you do really? It happens randomly. It happens when the car starts, at least for me. Its not like a bug or a feature that isn't functioning properly. Its the whole screen. It randomly does not start up correctly or is in a frozen state. The only way around it is to reboot the screen with the method I mentioned previously.

Other than surrendering your car to Ford for a time to look at, and most likely not have a solution, what else can we do lol!

Never once happened to me in going on three years now. Strange you get this on a 2023, and it sure seems like it should be repairable. Good luck.

it’s either hardware or a software issue. I am not Ford service tech but my spider sense tells me you should bring it to the dealer for them to attempt a software fix. If that fails, you should know right away based on your description of the issue. If that software fix failed, they should attempt to replace the unit since the techs don’t know how to rework a faulty SYNC CPU/PCB. Faulty voltages/grounding will cause shit to glitch too which is Hardware and can be repairable as well.
