Most people recommend setting your charge limit to something that’s reasonable for your daily routine and to:

Always
Be
Charging
??

Right. As does Ford, in your manual.

@MDLascara has a GT-PE, so his car does not have this battery chemistry. His battery lives best between 20% and 80% (actual - 15%-85% indicated). ??

I've charged once or twice a week in the three years I've owned the MME.

I’m with the people who charge every day. I drive the car into the garage, I plug in the car and charge to 80% and don’t think about it after that. My thinking is if I had to take an unexpected drive and my charge was down low then I would be putting myself in a bind. Especially true in emergency situations.

For the last few years of EV's (the Mach-E being the most recent), I leave it plugged in whenever I'm home with the charge limit set to 80-85%. I really don't even think about it anymore. I pull in my garage, plug in the car, and go inside.

Smaller, shorter charge sessions help with thermal management, or so i've heard. But as long as you avoid long term storage at extreme (0/100%) SOC and temperatures, manufacturing issues of your battery probably matter more than any charging strategy wrt limiting SOH degradation.

Coming from a Nissan Leaf that had far less range headroom and thus was charged daily "just in case", the GTPE is a no-worry luxury!

Sometimes I charge it daily, but it's so unnecessary in my use case.
And for personal R&D reasons, recently I have been intentionally NOT charging it daily.

For my use this car is super flexible.
