Do you still have a FDRS license to see if any codes (modules orange / red)?
It’s random for me sometimes all green sometimes RFA or CMR codes that are orange but no code set.

I have no idea what licence you are talking about or how to check codes.

FDRS is the software we use to update and check for trouble codes on the vehicles.
If you check the pinned threads above they have good videos and tutorials on how to use it.

I have a theory...
I have noticed that I lose PAAK access if I leave my phone bluetooth on for an extended period of time with the phone within the range of the car.

My garage is very close to my living quarters, so I have made it a habit to turn of BT on my phone as soon as my car auto locks. I have not had trouble with PAAK re-connecting after I turn on BT again.
I have also left BT on for extended periods of time while at work, which is very far away from where I park my car.

However, twice already, I lost PAAK access after I forgot to turn off my phone BT at home, and I was walking around the house (coming in/out of range of the car) for an extended period of time. In the past I could reboot my phone, and it would re-connect work. With latest RFA/FordPass this no longer works, and I have to delete PAAK and get a new one when this happens.

I confirmed that I had no RFA DTCs pending. Resetting RFA using Forscan also doesn't help. I am on Android (Pixel 4a).

@Robob , any idea if you lose PAAK access for the same reason?

Following this as I have an odd situation.

I got a new iPhone 15 and PAAK worked well - the app connected to the BT controls and I could open hatch/frunk from the app. When the MME was not home, I noticed I had two Mustang BT items (I hadn't noticed that before with the old iPhone SE) in my phone settings. I assumed it was a phantom from the old phone and I deleted one of the two.

Now, I can't start the car using PAAK, but I can unlock it. While sitting in the car with BT connected to either of the MME BT options, the app shows the BT controls as disconnected. And at times, with CarPlay off, the MME can't connect to BT.

I deleted my device in the app, and now can't figure out how to add - all the "optimize" items are checked.

I guess I'll be carrying my key TFN now. I can't figure out how to fix this without maybe doing a reset - but that means reprogramming fobs, phones, presets, etc. Ugh.

Anyone have any ideas? Appreciate any tips/tricks on this.

I was wondering if anyone has any issues with the latest 5.0.2 IOS ver. Mine is showing Vehicle ON and my location is stuck from a place I was at yesterday afternoon and won't update. I've tried sending it a command like lock/unlock which usually syncs it back up and that didn't work this time. I rebooted Sync and still the same. :(

The Bluetooth with the last 4 of your vin is the PAAK, the other Bluetooth is the normal car Bluetooth.

You most likely deleted the PAAK Bluetooth and now it’s in a messed up state. Will need to do a reset within the car to reconnect the phone.

A new day and same ole issue for me. Ford Pass App still shows yesterday's SOC% Data. The location is not updating, Can't start climate remotely, etc. and the Next Departure Date and time is Today instead of how it would normally show the next upcoming departure date/time.

Weeks also stuck on FordPower up-6.3.0 = Not Completed. ;(. (It never updates).

I gotta say this aspect of this vehicle has been the most disappointing. :(.

@spicy_taco i thought this was the issue at first as I was mowing the lawn going by the garage over and over. But the 2nd and 3rd times I just came outside in the morning and it wouldn’t connect so I don’t think it’s a multiple connection attempt timeout thing.

FordPass wasn’t updating for me as well but the recent TCU update seems to have fixed it. The 5.0.2 update may have had a fix in there too as the notes are pretty vague.

If you do have this issue I always reset the PAAK in general vehicle settings first. If everything is communicating correctly with the server you should get a push notification from the app and email saying PAAK has been removed.
Make sure you delete the BT connections from your phone settings too as it doesn’t clear out the vin + Mach e connection itself.

Well @spicy_taco may be on to something. For science I left the car out of the garage while mowing today and after so many times approaching the car the problem occurred again.
I checked LVB and it was still 13.1v but the app is stuck disconnected again.

Maybe some sort of anti theft part of the PAAK is locking the key out? I will give the @LeanneL method a shot and let it sit this way for a bit and see if it fixes it self. If not I will go open a ticket with software team at ford dealer

It takes me around 45min to mow and I noticed around half way it was not connecting anymore. So it could be some weird anti cloning or tamper proofing added to the software within the last few months because this didn’t happen in the past year I have had the car and I always mow the same way.
The garage being closed usually must have kept it from connecting as many times during the occasions it didn’t lock out.
I would just disable BT but I use the AirPods when mowing so BT is needed, I wish they had added a manual BT key toggle in fordpass with a way to manually connect the key. But this is asking too much

I suspect this showed up with the RFA update for global zone (where any door can be opened first, not just the driver's)

Yeah this screws with my ability to use a BT headset during the day.

I work from home a lot and my office is within signal range of the car.
