OTA ECG-24.2.4.9.1 Update

I got my 23 GT PE and have not had a single update since purchase a month and a half ago. Took it to the dealership and they upgraded some modules, but they can't do that PU updates I guess. Called the OTA team and they can't push anything out apparently. I want the public charging app, but more importantly, I want to make sure that my car is even able to update...

I don’t think I got an OTA in my car until it was over 9 months in my possession. I had performed a couple of FDRS updates to the car in the first 5 months. Any OTAs that may or may not have been queued for my car in that time were likely already taken care of by doing the FDRS updates (including the HVBJB software update). The FDRS updated your dealer performed may have already tKen care of any OTAs that were queued for your VIN. ??

It’s amazing how much anxiety these OTA updates give us.

Apparently, this is newer than the ECG-24.2.4.9 update rolled out recently.

Anyone else get this one? Just got it today.

I noticed two things after not driving my MME for a week. First, I can't find the "extend" button for the remote start feature. Second, I had an instance where the car suddenly behaved as though Cruise Control was on. I was doing 50 on a curvy back road and when you expect 1 pedal to lower the speed considerably before going into a corner, it's pretty thrilling to head right into it at speed. I can't wait to see what features are next.

Took the car to dealer two weeks ago and they did a bunch of softwartes. However, car still has the old icons instead of new ones.

My guess is that the OTA package simply hasn’t been queued yet for your VIN. We make lots of jokes about the way Ford selects VINs for updates for the reason that there doesn’t appear to be any logic to the process and we have no visibility on it. ??

I would suggest that if you need all of the modules in your car updated all of the time you find someone near you who has an FDRS rig (whom you can bribe with doughnuts) or get an FDRS rig yourself. Signing into the FDRS servers is sometimes harder than doing updates. The updates themselves are just time-consuming. ??

The update seems to be hanging on a part of the process and not moving. Not sure why. The interrogator is not posting the log for verification to start the file download process. It is not the first time I see this happen, but I don't know what causes it or how to get it to proceed.
