Don't push the stalk all the way until it clicks. Just gently push it and the blinker will shut off after 3 or 4 seconds.
I am not use to that kind of gentleness. I will have to try that. Thanks for the tip.

This is the correct answer. These systems would benefit from the type of turn signal stalks that are only momentary when you push them, and don't have a lock in place until the turn is done mode, but those are pretty annoying to use in other scenarios where you don't turn enough to automatically disengage them.
You just talked yourself into it and back out of it. ?

You have your choice:
  • full press locks it on and you will have to turn it off again
  • partial press stays on until the auto lane change completes

My non-EA '22 got the update this morning. Notification of available update popped up when I parked at work, and FordPass says it successfully installed. Excited to have this and the Tesla adapter for my road trip next week.

100% should have been that way. That’s the first thing that came to mind when I drove the care thinking about this exact feature being added in the future.
That type of stalk worked well in my Explorer after I got used to it. The not enough turning to disable it is true for both types.

that’s how it works in my Tesla and it turns off just fine even if the wheel is barely turned. It detects that it’s in a new lane and automatically shuts it off.

Actually, if we are complaining, some of us had it run out 6 months ago, and re-upped because the OTAs were still flowing...
That's partially why they 'got me'.

I've had BC1.3 since I have a 23.5, and I'm pretty happy with it. Glad to see everyone else is finally getting it, too. Ford still needs to put a lot of work into it, though. Especially if they want to try and charge $80/month for it.

Wonder what went wrong with 1.4 since they announced it so long ago and didn't just jump straight to it, instead.
This new version is an upgrade even if you started with 1.3 for what it’s worth.

No clue when it will go out OTA for cars already with 1.3 though. But holds the center lane much better between my 2 trips with the different versions.

Please wake me when a Job 1, 2021 gets upgraded. Until then you guys just have as much fun as you can changing lanes with out touching the wheel or have the car scoot away from big trucks. I won't be jealous for one minute....... :(.......

Cautiously optimistic I'll be getting it today or tomorrow. I'm EA, but nothing yet. Usually get updates very promptly.

Just got a software update for BC 1.3! '22 Job 1, not early access!

I'm also not on EA and just got it today. It was supposed to be installed tomorrow morning, but I went ahead and installed it right away so I could test it. Pretty awesome. The lane changing worked great. It also seemed to put me in the left part of the lane when alongside a semi. I haven't tested it to prompt me if I'm following someone going slower than what I have the cruise set for. Shot a short video of the lane change.l

I’ve seen the prompt a couple times, but 9.999/10 you’ll probably have already passed the person before that prompt shows up. The lane next to you has to be really empty and you have to have slowed down a bunch it seems.

I counted 21 flashes of the signal light before the lane change was completed. Is that normal?
