SOLVED: Dealer fixed PAAK problem, but no longer receive OTA updates since that was done.

RE: VIN 3FMTK4SE9NMA25308 My last OTA update was on October 14, 2023. On October 16, 2023, I took my 2022 Mach-E GT to the dealer for service because I couldn’t get my PAAK to set up (had just recently bought car). After their repair, I could set up and use PAAK but I never received another OTA update.

Here is what the dealer did on that October 16th service that stopped my OTA updates:

“Retrieve DTC U0214 from RFA. Found SSM 51571. Pull fuse 18/19 for one minute. Reinstall. Reprogram RFA. Clear DTCS to verify code does not return.”

“22B28 Reprogram HVAC control module reprogram HVAC module”

“22B48 Off-board charger controller module programming reprogram OCCM”

“23B50 Charge cord stuck- reprogram battery charge control module. Verify SOBDM at latest calibration”

Since then I’ve been to the dealer who “updated my modules” but still no luck- still no OTA updates since October 14th. Any idea why the repairs of October 16th stopped my getting OTA updates or do you see anything on FDRS that is keeping me from getting OTA updates? I would really like to be able to get OTAs so that I can get the new BlueCruise update.

Depends on what you got on your last update. OTA updates don’t happen very often.

The dealer updated a ton of modules on 6/20. Right now, you are only showing 4 modules pending updates. The BCM (which can be relatively new as there is a new one that recently started going around), a driver seat module, and the new PSCM/IPMA update that has been going around to activate BC 1.3 (if you're lucky). Your car is talking to the cloud just fine, so I don't know why you didn't get any OTA's sent before, but I can tell you to not expect a lot of OTA's now because your car is almost fully up to date.

Thanks rugedraw. I have not received an OTA in such a long time and I wasn't really sure that the dealer had updated everything. It's hard to get information from them.
