Just got notice for this one as I pulled into my garage a few minutes ago. I started it now instead of letting it wait until the automatic schedule tonight. Said the car would be unavailable for 7 minutes... which seems super specific.

I normally let it do the update when i see it and wait the time for it to finish

I recently turned off auto updates because I'm concerned about getting an update that will lock me out of my car or worse.

Any glitches for those who have downloaded?

I just got the notice as well. Is there any chance this addresses the mysterious 2023 12v low battery lock out issues being recently reported in these forums?

I think they try and be specific since the car would be undriveable, they want to let know that leaving in 15 or 30 minutes will be fine.

Ford has been pretty good about halting the updates that lock out the car. It happened to a few people, but Ford paused that sequence of updates very quickly afterwards.
I think you are better off keeping updates turned ON.

That's good to know. I still may keep auto updates turned off for a bit. I like to have control over when and where updates are installed. Call me overly cautious, but I'd hate to be stuck in a remote place from a random update bricking my car. I know the chances of that may be slim, but I prefer to air on the side of caution.

Same here, got the notification as I pulled into my work parking garage 2 hours from home. If this bricks it, I'm in a parking structure parked forward, and no way to quickly get a fob ?
