Youāre right and probably what they should do. This is what a friend of mind told me that works for them but then heās in the AI division so who knows.I doubt they will cut off all the prior produced Rivian vehicles by replacing CCS1 with NACS connectors at all chargers.
Perhaps they will change out some connectors to NACS at a location but not all.
It would be alot better if they had a charger that allowed for two cables or added something like the MagicDock but from CCS1 to NACS.
Instead I think there will be a long transition period where NACS equipped vehicles will need to carry a CCS1 adapter and CCS1 equipped vehicles will need to carry a NACS adapater.
