I'd be happy if it showed up on fordpass
Or possibly the big-ass screen in the middle of the car? Or even in the wasted space of the ICP? It’s embarrassing that this VERY BASIC information can not be seen in the vehicle itself.

Doesn't matter much to me where the LVB SOC is shown, just as long as I can access it SOMEWHERE. It'd be convenient to have it shown in the Fordpass app.

I ordered an OBDLink MX+ recently. Is it ok to keep the scanner plugged in 24/7?

Bluetooth Voltmeter mounted on the battery.

Not only can you get a live read on the SOC/Static Voltage, but you also get a 24/7 log to view at your leisure.

There's often some very interesting activity in the vehicle while you are counting sheep or are at the office all day. :)

Interestingly Ford.com says my SoC is 75% while FP says it's 74%. I've tried to force a refresh by locking and unlocking the car via FP, but FP & Ford.com still do not agree. ?

I have for a year now, and its the same model.
It works fine, and i never take it out.
I believe I read it goes into sleep mode after 30 minutes.

Being right in the catcher of the Gulf of Mexico, when I hear the words, tropical depression and Gulf today, time to charge to 100%, vaporTrails am I wrong?
Tis’ the season I’m afraid. I’ll hover at 85% more often and just leave early. 100% is overrated because there is no second charger in that last 15% of range in this desert.

My previous Tesla Model 3 didn't have anything that showed the SOC on the LVB either if I recall correctly but owners could easily access the Service Mode where you could see all sorts of information, run diagnostics, etc. I wonder if that Bezel diag in Sync has any LVB info. Access it by holding Volume down and I believe Previous Track button (Opposite the one that reboots sync).

Well they finally fixed it guys. After something like 10+ months, they got around to fix the mistake on the website that was showing 12V % instead of HVB %. I can confirm it shows HVB % now instead of 12V.

FYI they have a rounding issue now, so if your car's HVB SoC is at 70.5% it will show as 71% on the website. FordPass will show 70%. SoC should not be rounded up in my opinion.

It should not cause lock outs unless you set it to try and ping the car for updates.

I've been running this for 2 years now without issue. It pings the API every 60 seconds for changes but never requests an update from the car unless I manually trigger that.

Pinging the car keeps it awake and can cause 12v drain. And also costs Ford money on data transfer on cellular.
If you ping the API, does it just go against Ford servers then, and not the truck directly? Thinking of setting this up if it works without locking things up.

The data is still there in the API. Just nowhere end user visible now.

If you use the HomeAssistant addon you can get it. But this isn't in a great state currently with some of the login changes Ford has made it has been breaking randomly.

Is there a way to directly see the JSON?

it depends on the model. Mine stays powered on and if I forget I eventually get a notificantion from FP to plug in my car because the 12v battery is discharging.

Beat me to posting on here!

Thought it strange both my MME and Lightning LBV states were at 70%

Battery monitor shows 100% whereas screen shows 70%. I can stop looking at the dashboard on the web now and just rely upon the battery monitor.

Hmm, I don't see the data in the current API response to the browser... Do you know what API URL your app is querying?

From the website, the API call that is pulling the data that is displayed for my MME is loading:

https://www.digitalservices.ford.com/owner/api/v3/vehicle/status?countryCode=us

And in the response, for the battery data, I am only seeing:

"battery":
{"batteryHealth":null,"batteryStatusActual":{"value":"12.625","status":null,"timestamp":"2024-08-01 13:09:42Z"}}

and

"batteryFillLevel":
{"value":85.0,"status":null,"timestamp":"2024-08-01 13:09:42Z","quarterRange":"FULL"}

So the batteryFillLevel is showing the HVB. I'm not finding the LVB data anywhere in that response.

Can they "un fix it " ? Or give me the information on LVB somewhere
