Indeed, I know that when I’m limping into Kansas City with my kids with less than 10% remaining, knowing that I’m now gonna have to find and sit at a charger for 45 minutes before proceeding to the in-laws… I just think to myself “well, this is only 10% of the time” and it makes everything magically better.
Have you evaluated paying to put in an outlet to charge at your inlaws? First thing I did at my parents house. They are in a charge desert on the coast of maine, I had an L2 outlet put in and have never worried about range since.

To me it just sounds like you're trying to spend 45 minutes less at your in-laws.

Is this going to be the thread where we make historical comparisons which inadvertently acknowledge how terribly inconvenient modern EV road tripping can be?

LOVE IT! I’ll go next…

Priceless?

Quick! Turn over the wagons in a circle and shoot all the circling anti-EVers?

There's a lot about those ladies pictured that an old man like myself admires even without any confirmation of my assumptions.
Primarily that they couldn't possibly have modern day issues. ?

Wait till colder weather arrives - then we hear them whining again!
I can say this I usually don’t go out in the morning and go anywhere, but I had to go to the hospital because I have to have some stuff done tomorrow and get the electrical system rewired. anyways it was 83° and I went ahead and set the AC on 76 so under the trip meter it was not using but maybe one percent on the climate control traveling between 70 miles an hour down to 45 miles an hour and back up I was getting about 2.9 today and that’s the best I’ve gotten in a long time so I’m not really concerned about anxiety that is with mileage. I just noticed the less climate control is used the better your mileage back in the day they said with an ICE vehicle turn the air conditioner off you’ll get better mileage but these new cars nowadays I leave the AC on the ICE car and I get better mileage with the air conditioner running but with the EV ,I think if you turn the AC off you get better mileage, I don’t think I actually see the difference if I turn the AC to a little higher temperature when it’s cooler out.

Well, they did wear pants, so it's probably safe to assume that they were hussies of some sort.
