I was using the unbridled driving mode from August to November, and switched to whisper from Mid-November to March. Did anyone experienced a substantial wear on the tread after driving 5 months.

I also have the Pirelli 245/45R
Please give me your comments

How many miles do you have after 5 months? Time has nothing to do with it, but you should be rotating your tires every 5K miles. The summer tires do wear out quicker

Unless you have a lot of miles, I would say that you need an alignment check

What tire pressure are you running?
How are the tires wearing out?
Are they all wearing uniformally?

If those are summer tires you shouldn’t run them in the winter or under 45 degrees or they are prone to wear and cracks.
This ^^^

Pretty clearly using Summer Tires in winter, which destroys them.

10k on my 2023, bought in Dec and used all winter. Tires do appear to have some cracking between lugs, but actual treadwear appears very minimal. I don't drive like a crazy person.

I've also driven plenty of other summer tires through full MD/VA winters and never had cracking like I've seen with these tires. So there is definitely something different about these Pirellis. If you can't drive under 45F, then don't sell these cars in the winter in states with cold weather, or sell it with all seasons.

It had approx. 3700 km ( 2300 miles ) back in February. And I don't speed just city driving.

I believe the Pirelli is only on the GTPE here in the USA in Canada probably all GT models. It looks like you live in Edmonton. Did you put winter tires on or drive on the Pirellis?

If you drive the OE summer Pirellis in the winter this kind of milage is par

You need to have the alignment checked and should do an alignment anytime that you switch over your tires from winter to summer. Also, with that low of mileage the tire manufacture should warranty the tire in question.

If the tires were the Summer UHP tires, they have no mileage warranty. OP hasn’t said if he has all-seasons or summers. ?‍♂?
