Us 2021 owners need some updated software love. I still have this weird issue when I use the Ford Navigation it lowers the radio down to a 6 which you can barely hear above road and tire noise. It disables the volume control and that is as loud as it gets. It happened when I paid for the renewed Navigation after it expired in 3 years. I am hoping for a future update that fixes it. Resetting the screen doesn't fix it.

Finally letting us use the Public Charging app while driving! Should have been like that from Day 1.

But I hope that’s not the solution for not having the Tesla chargers in the Nav app. I still want that and it’s kind of overdue.

It was a hint that Ford hasn’t forgotten 2021s, nothing more. There was nothing hinted at about when an improved version of BC would be pushed to 2021 cars. Not soon, not soon™, not someday.

Interesting that they are up to version 10 already. There must have been a lot of internal versions that had issues as part of the BC 1.3 rollout to go jump so many numbers.

I could be wrong, but I’d think it’s more likely just a change to the numbering system. Like Apple changing the Mac OS numbering from OSX 10.x for like 15 years to now OS 11, 12, 13, etc. for the last five years.

If you have lane repositioning and lane change assist, then BC 1.2. If you also got an OTA update, then BC 1.3.
