I've seen many posts about MY21s not getting updates. @Ford Motor Company if this is official policy, it would be appropriate to inform those that paid 50k plus for the car - PLUS subscription services. If not, it would be appropriate for @Ford Motor Company to communicate the nature of the delays. I have not had an update for over 5 months. Does anyone have thoughts on this?

Spoke to my brother in law yesterday. He and I both have 2021 MME GTs and when he recently had the car in for service the dealer told him no updates were available for his Vin. He like us hasn't received an update in months.

It's odd for sure but I wouldn't go as far as saying Ford has stopped updates permanently.

I’m pretty sure the Ford reps on this forum are not authorized to answer questions, much less deliver any sort of bad news.

My MME GT screen says that the last update was on May 2024.

Don't you guys with the 21 models know current business practices. Manufacturers have to make their items obsolete after a few years so that you'll buy a new model. They have to support the union wages some way.

Not sure if this website is of any benefit, but someone mentioned it before. The last update I received was 6.14.0 for my 21 GT back in June
https://github.com/elmedico27/fordpowerup
After nearly three months since the last update, I recently received 6.14.0 for my 22 RWD here in Europe (Greece). In any case, according to the Github repository, this update should not be available in Europe, and the updates are extremely inconsistent.

what are you basing this on?
Simple fact that there has been no announcement to confirm. So until they announce the 2021s are no longer supported I will assume there is just some kind of a delay. They have announced the car will get BC 1.3 and the rollout is in reverse order. I have seen posts of people with 2022s just getting the BC update.

for all the salty people let me leave this excerpt from the warranty for you:

Ford Power-Up software updates During the warranty coverage period, Ford Motor Company warrants that: • you will not be charged for diagnosis, repair, replacement, or adjustment of components that are damaged or inoperable due to a defect caused by a Ford Power-Up software update

You still sure you want updates willy nilly?

Remember that dealer service centers are using FDRS to look for module updates. This is a very different process than the updates sent out OTA. Some of those module updates are packaged up for OTA delivery but not all of them.

Definitely not true according to Ford. The latest info I had is BC 1.3 for all existing models, including 2021, is very much in the works -- it's just going slowly.
