Run them at 33, you’ll be a lot happier as ride quality is VASTLY improved v 38/39.

The reason the Select and the Rally's max loaded tire pressure is 38 instead of 39 is because their tires have a slightly taller sidewall giving them a higher load rating (104 for Select, 105 for Rally) instead of 103 like the Premium and GT. Not as high of a tire pressure needed to handle the weight of the Mach-E.

At least I now know what my snow tires/wheels will be set at now... if I ever get to put them on. It's going to be nearly 80 tomorrow in upstate NY and still over 70 on Halloween. Probably mid-November before I can switch and not absolutely wreck the snow tires.

Works for all. Try it, you’ll like it!
I tried it years ago, and it helped a bit with my old GT before I switched out the OEM springs. It no longer helps with the new springs in place.

But the Rally suspension is different, and I've read that it is better. I would be interested in hearing about actual experience with the Rally trim.

With the Rally having taller springs all the way around (1" more suspension travel) and 20% softer spring rate in front, 35% softer rear, it rides much better. So far all reviews have stated this as well as some owners. Like I mentioned a couple of years ago, the reason for the firm, bouncy ride is Ford wanted a sporty, lower SUV and because of this, there is very little suspension travel. I think I measured 2 1/2" for the non-GT and 2" for the GT. That is nothing compared to 4-5 1/2" you get with an Edge, Explorer, etc. Because the travel is so short, they had to use very stiff springs so it would not bottom out every chance it gets. The Rally having 1" more travel and softer springs really helps out with the ride.

This has been my experience. I like where the Rally is with the specified pressure. Historically, I have tended to want more pressure in my tires than suggested, not less (like 35 vs 32).
