Here are some interior shots from the press footage showing some of the new features, in particular a totally new instrument cluster UI with new fonts. Looks like the power/regen meter will always be shown in the right side. Speedometer will be slightly offset to the right, which should help calm down the complaints from some people about the wheel blocking it. Main screen UI looks the same. There will be a passthrough from the center console into the new cubby for a phone cable. The turn signal stalk will now be much larger with all the wiper functions integrated. Red stitching comes with the Sport Appearance Package on the Premium trim.

Well, at least the speedo now seems to be in a spot that isn't partially obscured by the steering wheel. Small victories. ?‍♂?

I wonder if there's a USB port in the center console, or if it's only 12V power like we currently have.

Also, wondering if the wireless charge pad is significantly improved... Someday, maybe several years from now, Qi 2 will become common on new vehicles and should help quite a bit.

i'd really like to see them add charge session details (V, A requested, A delivered, kW, kWh) to the IPC or center console.

Mine isn't obscured.
Yes, consensus is if you have the steering wheel tilt adjusted traditionally so the wheel is pointed at your shoulders, you should be able to see the entire cluster. I've learned there is a subset of people that have the column tilt adjusted down so far the top of the wheel is blocking most of the cluster except the very center. Apparently for various reasons they are not able adjust the wheel upwards slightly to fix their view of the cluster, and insist on having the speedometer in the very center of the display at all times.

The 12V port has been moved left and I can see an outline of something, so I'm going to go with "Yes, they added USB port in the center console." The previous USB ports are still there.

I've given up hope on the Ford wireless charger, and I'm much happier with a MagSafe pad now. But hopefully they give the wireless charger an upgrade so it's more of a phone charger than phone heater.

According to Donna we will get some of those details. At least kW rate, not sure how much else. Volts and amps would be great.

thanks. kW rate at a minimum; would be nice to have an indicator if the charging station is limiting the rate (usually an amp limited cable) but details are great too.

Upper-arm & shoulder pain, at least for me. Helps to keep the steering wheel a little low, especially when already sitting low due to lack of headroom and traffic light visibility.

I’m still laughing about the 5 watt wireless charger in my Lexus, nearly $700. They should just make a puck hole so we can spend the $20 every 2 years to get one with double the charge power and just plop it in. These ridiculous ones they sell need to end.
I don’t even know the iPhone 16 can wireless 25w and corded charge at 45 watts. My 15 pro feels like it must have been charging at 45 watts when I pop it back in my pocket after a drive ?

No more “GROUND SPEED”?

also, wouldn’t the steering wheel look better if the insert pads on the lower part were a contrasting color - say a light grey? ?
