Without Bluecruise 1.3 for 2.5 yrs, almost giving up.

I've posted before, sought help here and dealerships. The only update I received was a manual FDRS for BC 1.2 in 2022, at the dealership.

Ever since, no signs of BC 1.3 or a communication of any sort. @Ford Motor Company has really let customers down on comms. Worse, I've bought 3 yrs of a non existent BC updated with another year left.

I'm on the verge of letting this go, since a Job 1 early customer deserves kind (or better) treatment and communication, for being an early bird or scapegoat.

Same here! What makes matter worse for me is I worked at a Ford dealer for 21 years and I have contacts but the software and service side are out of control and don’t show any customer care and support. I have been on here several times and been contacted by Ford but they do nothing about it. I really like Fords designs and have 4 Fords and beginning to believe the only loyalty is me to them. Not the other way around! Still have BC issues. The ME cannot stay on BC on a simple straight stretch of i95.. Hope you get yours fixed.

Job 1 2021 mme here. Got bc 1.0 and nothing else. I already gave up. @Ford Motor Company has our money and are not incentivized to keep us as customers. I stupidly paid for bc as well lol. I'm definitely not returning to @Ford Motor Company as a customer. I'll gladly pay double for a better product. This experiment was not worth it at all.

I paid up as well thinking it was "coming soon"............that's the last time I pay ford for a connected service. I'm 18mo +/- from moving to another vehicle so I'll not be paying another BC or Nav update fee. I'm done

Yeah im +/- 12 months max.

I think at this point @Ford Motor Company is more about trying to gain market share rather than keeping its current customer base. They figure we are stuck for a couple of years minimum.

There is no "version number" you can look up anywhere. If you have automatic lane changes, then you can be sure you have at least v1.2. You can post your VIN here:

And someone with FDRS can check your module versions and infer what version you are at.
Thanks, I posted. This is another example of Ford not giving us info we could use. Like no longer being able to get 12V status w/o putting a voltmeter on the car.

BC 1.3 is not all that - matter of fact it made it worse on my '23.

BC 1.2 was the best IMO.

Wish I can roll mine back....
In what ways did 1.3 make things worse when compared to 1.2 on your car? Enquiring minds want to know. :)
