Are you gearing up for an electric road trip this holiday season? As you prepare, we have created a brand-new resource to help make your electric road trips easier, whether it’s finding chargers along your route, using your Fast Charging Adapter, or paying for charging. And if things go wrong along the way, troubleshooting resources are also available.

Starting today, you can visit the Electric Road Trip Hub or by visiting https://go.ford/evroadtrip.

At the hub, you can learn about the various EV routing options available to you, including:
  • Connected Navigation EV Routing (coming soon to the Hub)
  • Google Maps EV Routing for Android Auto
  • Apple Maps EV Routing for Apple CarPlay
And when you get to the charger, you can learn about how to plug in whether it’s at CCS fast charger without an adapter, or at a NACS fast charger with your Fast Charging Adapter.

Paying for your charge is also easy with the BlueOval Charge Network. With it, you can pay for public charging three ways at over 160,000 chargers across 12 networks in the US and Canada - all from one account with no annual fee – there’s no need to download any additional apps. You can learn about the three ways at the Hub as well:
  • Plug & Charge (at Electrify America and Tesla)
  • FordPass mobile app activation (at all network partners)
  • Public Charging SYNC app activation (at all network partners)
As a reminder, the BlueOval Charge Network members have access to the following networks:
  • Blink
  • ChargePoint
  • Electrify America
  • Electric Circuit
  • EV Connect
  • EVgo
  • FLO
  • Ford Charge
  • Francis Energy
  • Shell Recharge
  • Red E
  • Tesla
Safe travels this holiday season!

"Electric Road Trip Hub" is just an electronic marketing sheet with no actual useful functions. Literally just a page of links to other Ford webpages. I could have made this myself on a boring afternoon.
I'm sure there are many that can use this as a useful central source of info on charging., especially those that have not used the apps or charging providers before or infrequently. For example, I use my home L2 charger 99% of the time and while I am not planning a road trip in the near term, I would use this if I were.

Thanks for providing this easy source of charging info and links Ford.

Why are engineering resources being wasted on fluffy stuff like this instead of important things like completing and delivering the updates to MME's, especially older year models.

Exactly. Read it for what it is, and I do appreciate it regardless of the rant that follows :curse:

As a frustrated '21 owner who just wants the Google integration, I would like to know if the '21s are in-scope for this material or not. It's carefully worded, and there are no exclusions, and it would be good if Ford just said 'yes' or 'no' to what model years (and models) it's applicable for.

Finally, and I'll search the forums, but the BlueOval network does not work for me. ALL of those providers, outside of EA, require me to use their apps, even though everything is right on the Ford account side of things. EVGo, which has DCFC stations at a couple of Ford dealerships I've stopped by, does not even work with the BlueOval network.

Can't wait for the 10.1.0 update to be released to 21MY cars like mine so we can enjoy the new Google Maps integration. Coming soon, Ford?

The troubleshooting and charging assistance banner isn't hyperlinked to anything:

I can activate through the FordPass App, but not through the ChargeAssist app in the car that finally showed up. When I phoned support they couldn't really help. But, if you cannot use it even from the app, I feel they really should be able to help you.

Please make sure your payment credit card is the same card in two places: 1) in the FordPass app, 2) on the Ford Account wallet website.

Ok, great. But, Tesla Superchargers are still. Pt available in Ford Navigation or Apple CarPlay! So, even though we can charge there, still not route planning that includes Tesla Superchargers. What is taking so long to get this implemented?!

Maybe instead of getting the routing back in Ford Pass app, we'll get it on this website? I *really* miss planning routes from inside the house (or hotel) and then sending them to the car's connected navigation.

Thanks - I'll be trying again soon.

As luck would have it, it's usually cold and/or rainy when I've had to charge away from home lately, so fumbling with 14 different apps and hoping there's a decent mobile signal is not an enjoyable experience.
