No, 2021s have had all the updates on hold for a while. We are just now seeing it kick off again staring with Early Access. You should start seeing updates again in the next month or so.
Thanks for the update. Much appreciated.

I can't figure out how to find this page without following the link provided. If I click up the bread crumb trail, back to support.
Ford Mustang Mach-E Vehicle Software Update History Now Available in Your Ford Account 1734543188606-j1

I don't see a path back to "software updates"

There is a software updates on my dashboard, but that's not this.

Given the sporadic nature of OTA releases per VIN, it could be a week, a month, or three months. Some 2021s started receiving updates about 2 weeks ago. OTAs were not the reason I got a 2024. ??

Hmm, I thought I read there are no more software updates available on my 2021 Mach e since June of 2024. If that is true, then there is nothing for me to see since this past June is well beyond the 90 day period. if my assumptions are correct, all of this hype is essentially useless. In my case.

Does anyone have any "insight" regarding my scenario?

Ford is pushing BC 1.3 to 21's in Early access... other 21's will eventually follow. So, there will be more OTA's for our 21s at some point.

I just checked the vehicle update history in the vehicle: It says the last OTA update was version 6.14.0 and it is up to date. A little searching on the internet suggests that update was released March of 2024. So if my Mach e was updated several months ago, I guess I would see nothing on the new update history website report. Correct?

To add to the confusion, the Sync screen in the car says we have version 6.14.0 but when logged into the Ford website, looked up my vehicle it indicates I have sync version 4.0.23352. Weird! But maybe not considering all of the past Ford problems with software.

Thank goodness, none of this seems to matter. We drive it nearly everyday, everything seems to work, so no big deal.

However the hype about the Update History appears to be useless since the last update was longer than 90 days ago. But it is a bit concerning, but not unexpected, that the vehicle software version does not match the website.

The version of SYNC in your car, and the OTA number are not related in any way. It's not really an error, it's just that they aren't related. There are dozens of other modules in the car that are not SYNC, and they get updates too... so the OTA number and the SYNC release number are not related.

OK, I kinda assumed that might be the case, but I submit it is a bit confusing.

Thanks for the info.

I know the OP pointed it out, but count me in with the '21 owners going there anyway to be sadly reminded that I haven't had an update within the 6-month window... :curse:

There is a software updates on my dashboard, but that's not this.
Open vehicle dashboard and click View Details in the Software Updates card:

Ford Mustang Mach-E Vehicle Software Update History Now Available in Your Ford Account 1734552185520-jx

Then View Details and View Release Notes History:

Ford Mustang Mach-E Vehicle Software Update History Now Available in Your Ford Account 1734552292659-sz

And then you can see that you don't have anything:

Ford Mustang Mach-E Vehicle Software Update History Now Available in Your Ford Account 1734552344573-uf

OK, maybe you do.

It’s not that there are no more updates for 2021s. It’s just that there has been a hold on OTAs to 2021 models that started around May of this year and was lifted a few weeks ago. Now you are at the mercy of the selection process that decides which VINs to send which updates to and when. ??

This is going to not answer so many more threads.

Cue the 'I don't have this is my car broken?' in, 3, 2, 1

At least when you don't get updates for 90+ days it's not telling you to connect to WIFI...

I'm guessing I have the oldest Sync version extant:

  • SYNC Version 4.0.22192

Can anyone beat that?

Gaaaaah! 90 days? Literally in EVERY SURVEY they send me … I have asked for this feature. It needs to be the FULL history … not just 90 days. ?

I have two cars, so it’s difficult to recall which update went to each.
