Samsung Z Fold 6 here unlocked version. Still waiting for January update. Pretty crazy that Samsung cannot release an update to their unlocked devices ?

Hi. I am driving a 2023 Lincoln Nautilus. Just installed the new January 2025 samsung galaxy s23 software update (Android 14). Phone as a key is working again! A lincoln app update came for android a few days ago. That did not fix the issue. The new security update from Samsung seems to have fixed it. Will keep my fingers crossed and report any malfunction. Assuming this will work on a MachE

Prior to the Jan 2025 Android patch, PaaK on my Pixel 9 Pro was a bit sluggish for the car to recognize it. I would most times have to wait up to 30-60 seconds after walking to the driver door before it would recognize. I have gotten into the habit of entering the keypad code to unlock the door so I could at least be getting into the vehicle while PaaK was coming online.

Now after the Jan 2025 Android patch _and_ deleting and setting up PaaK again, it has been flawless. It still hasn't been a full week of use so I'll hold out final judgement until a few more days, but it's looking like it's finally working like it should.
FordPass 5.10.0 with Android Jan 2025 patch on my Pixel 9 Pro continued to work extremely well for PaaK through yesterday. Then I got FordPass 5.10.1. Now PaaK is completely not working. I deleted the phone key and tried to set it up again and it refuses to complete after multiple attempts.

FordPass 5.10.0 with Android Jan 2025 patch on my Pixel 9 Pro continued to work extremely well for PaaK through yesterday. Then I got FordPass 5.10.1. Now PaaK is completely not working. I deleted the phone key and tried to set it up again and it refuses to complete after multiple attempts.
Try resetting the key thru the car, then clear the app storage (not just the cache), log back in and set up paak again (making sure your car is outside)

Try resetting the key thru the car, then clear the app storage (not just the cache), log back in and set up paak again (making sure your car is outside)
I reset PaaK from the car. I forced the app closed and cleared the cache and the storage and uninstalled, then reinstalled, then signed in, then attempted to setup PaaK again. It did not work at all. I tried multiple times.

PaaK went from sluggish to working perfectly to now completely not working in the matter of a couple of weeks. Very sad.

That's a bummer... usually I only have issues setting up paak when my car is in my garage. If I back out where there is an open uncovered space (not sure why I have to) it setup without issue.

Downloading the January update for the Samsung S22 failed many times with errors., that were probably timeout errors.

I had to connect the phone to the Windows 11 computer via an USB and then run Smart Switch that is supplied on the phone. After that, PAAK was working on the S22.

Mine keeps falling to update too. Which is weird cause based on everything I've read on here, on Ford is terrible at OTA software updates.

I'm having pixel issues as well in recent days. I tend to think we should start a new thread on this because it is different than the OPs root cause having to do with a Samsung-specific bug.

For anyone having trouble on Pixel I have had success with the instructions within the application to reset, with the addition of app removal, restart of phone, and re-download/setup of PaaK while inside the car with the real key.

Nothing you can do until they fix their fix... So, you just have to wait it out, couple months tops...

I've been getting errors when trying to remove the key inside the app, only way to solve that has been to delete it.

There seems to be something going on with Bluetooth. A Bluetooth toggle used to get PaaK working, but it is not working anymore. Could be 5.10.1 or could be Pixel's January update, not sure.

I don't think Ford did anything (this time). I think the December Android security update mucked with some Bluetooth permissions. My Sony phone succumbed to this after receiving the December update (in January ?).
