To my knowledge the only way to pre-condition the battery is to put the charging destination in the native Ford Navigation and the battery will start pre-conditioning about 20 min. out. We do NOT have a simple "pre-conditioning" button, that some of the cars are now featuring (Kia/Hyundai).

I'm no expert, and there are a lot more knowledgable people on this forum (Mach-Lee) that if I am incorrect, can correct me!!

It (along with similar floor mats) was part of the all weather package when I got the car.

I'll be honest, it's easier to just download the manual in pdf, put it on your phone and you can search by looking at the index or even just "find" a particular word. I never bother with the online.

You can go to the ford.com site login, scroll to bottom of the page and find "support" then "warranty and owner manuals"
I did that too for the same reason, now if I need to something up I go to the downloaded .pdf version.

It was something that you could order with the car or buy afterwards. I’m pretty sure Ford parts still sells them. That said, there are lots of aftermarket mats available. A lot of people like the 3D mats brand, but there are others as well. Good luck.

Yeah, actually had the 10.1 mid day update (?! Set for 1AM) caused my battery to go to -10C (-30C ambient) and thought I’d warm up my battery after the L2 charger at work faulted after update … and all I could get was 5kW. Tesla charger has been here 6 months and still not on Ford Nav and I have a iPhone. First experience with frozen battery but did have enough to get home 150 km at 35 kWh/100 km. From now on if below -20C, I will charge to 65% with warm battery before parking at L2 charger at work. I use Car Scanner a a Blu Tooth fob on ODC port. I’ve learned a lot with the info, critical with sparse charging.

OR......You could move to a climate where Hell has Not Frozen Over!!! As I type this we hit a very pleasant 71 degrees F (21.6 C) in Atlanta today!!! Being originally from Florida, there are several sentences I have never uttered: (" From now on if below -20C"); that is one that has never escaped my lips!!!

Just bustin your balls, as they say. Hope you at least get to vacation outside of Trumps 51st State ?

Apparently our "Illegal Immigration" System is thriving......err, was thriving.....now, well lets just say it may not be as successful as in the past......

Update: I found my clock 12 hours out so it was doing updates in the middle of the day lol. I guess I thought default was Auto synch time. I also put to 24 hour clock ;)

auto sync is the way to go for time settings.
