With my Grabber Blue being discontinued, I wanted to compare the Velocity Blue replacement. So far no 2025 MachE near me, but I confirmed this Bronco is Velocity Blue. Much darker than I wanted, got some in sun and some in shade.

Years ago Ford had Ruby Red. They replaced it with Rapid Red. Rapid Red is not a rich. Not a fan of their color changes.

I wanted a sapphire blue metallic, so Velocity Blue isn’t there either (too light). I stayed with Grabber Blue Metallic by going with a 2024. Bonus frunk space since the 2025 loses ~40% of the frunk volume due to packaging for the heat pump. ??

I’d have traded my 2021 in by now if they still offered infinite blue on the Mach-e. I’m not a fan of either velocity blue or grabber blue. Performance Blue would be nice though, it looks good on our F-150 Raptor anyway.

Ford brought back Ruby Red this year on the Bronco, Maverick and Superduty. I also like its richer, deeper red.

I don’t know about any of these blues. I feel the deeper and richer the better. I’d also be partial to any color that doesn’t change with different lighting situations.

Since the first Mustang, I believe there have been more than 50 different Blues just for that car. I'm sure there is one you would have liked. ?

I’d go for Honolulu blue as a loyal lions fan. You’d think Ford can easily offer that since Bill Ford’s sister (Shiela Hamp) owns the Detroit Lions. But no dice.
