Hey Miguel, wanted to let you know that Eric (Rickless) and I installed your rear lighted pony a couple of weeks ago while we were adding interior ambient lighting and doing some other mods to his car. There were no instructions supplied with the kit however I don't think it took us more than 15 minutes.

Removed rear OEM pony, cleaned adhesive off the paint and used acetone to wipe off any residue. Pulled off interior liftgate trim panels and connected the plug and play wiring supplied in your kit to the proper liftgate connectors. Removed the plastic backing off the adhesive foam on the lighted pony, passed the wiring through the holes in the liftgate and pressed it firmly on the liftgate for 30 seconds. Connected the wires from the lighted pony to the connectors and reinstalled the liftgate trim panels. That is it! We did not connect the long gray wire that attaches to the backup light. Neither of us thought it was necessary that the pony lights up WHITE when backing up. Had we routed that long wire from the liftgate to the backup light, the install would have taken a little longer.

Your rear lighted pony looks identical to the OEM pony and unless it is lit up, no one would notice it was any different. When it does light up, the dynamic start is very cool. ? We ran out of time to install the lighted front pony but next time Eric is up, we will do that one too then he will post some photos/videos of them in action. ?

Good to hear that, i have 2 questions, did you instal the reverse white leds (goes into the reverse light plug) and for the front you will have to wait the next shipment because i will ship a new plug to you. In the case of your buddy have high configuration headlights(vertical stripes) the conector fix is very easy, need to move one wire, let me know if you want to give a try, is very easy. Thanks.

Did not install the reverse light wire because Eric (and I) felt there was no need for the pony to change from red to white when going in reverse.

I won’t need a new connector plug for the front pony. I can rewire it to work properly. ?
