When will I ever see this screen again? I miss it so much.

Why on earth did Ford replace this amazing display with a dull, motionless car screen?! I just don’t get it! I really want to go back to that screen. What do you all think? Is there really no way to return to it?

Never, unless you buy a 2025 (or perhaps a late 2024), or are willing to tweak the car with FORSCAN. There’s been no indication that Ford is planning to change it back for rest of us.

Maybe they took those features away as an incentive for you to buy a new car with the instrument panel you want. It's a way to keep the money flowing.

I would like to keep the graphics but also have an option of a speed dial rather digital. It is much easier to gauge your speed in peripheral vision with a dial rather than a number.

also hugely disagree with a dial being easier. Our second older ICE vehicle obviously has dials and i find it takes more time looking down to determine exact speed vs the bright and center digital redout.

The attached photo is how my 24' looks on Unbridled mode. I love it being centered like that, can honestly say its saved me from some tickets. Using forscan to correct whatever ford has done is pretty easy if that is an option.

I like the Whisper screen. I tried again to use some other mode but the fact the screen breathes keeps bringing me back to that mode. If I lose it, I'ma be quite sad and go ape with ForcScan.
(I also have to use Whisper because my steering is super heavy in all modes. My Whisper is as heavy as unbridle. Unbridle is like a 64 f100 with a 14 inch Grant GT steering wheel, i miss that truck)

This is exactly what happen on my mine, not sure who thought putting the speed off the right was a good idea. I had to adjust my driving position a little to see it better, When it was in the center so much easier to see.

My car will show this screen if I have “show distance” or some setting like that in driver assistance settings turned on. If I turn off the distance indicator the first screen with the orange lines and speed is what is shown when lane assist is turned off

I an pretty certain that is caused from having the Pre-Collision Assist "Distance Indication" enabled.

turn off that first option as shown below.
