OTA "Unsuccessful" - will it try again?

I have a 21 job 1 car.
No issues with any OTA updates until 2.7.3 failed 2x.

Now the recall update failed once.

-Does anyone know if they will try a 2nd time for the recall update?
-Any thoughts on what could be causing the failed updates?

Yes, failed updates have to be re-queued-up by Ford. Then they will try again.

Or, you can go to your dealer and get the recall update in under 40 minutes.

I've already been once. I asked for recall and 21P22. They had another mach E hooked up to power and updating. Dealer told me end of day. Well, end of day came around, and they told me maybe in 2 days because it was taking so long.
Not much confidence in the dealer locally. I know some of the BC updates can take a while, but this seemed like a lot.

If only you could simply retry the update after a failure....

I brought mine in for the BC update it failed on 2.7.3 and they gave it back to me with what it went in with (2.7.1) not updated. They told me Ford has stopped OTA updates and makes poor software. Basically live with it. Have approached them twice (email) since and been ignored. Not a very pleasant experience with this vehicle anymore. Nothing goes smoothly and fixes are cheap. Just waiting for my second not robust enough HVJB to eventually fail and strand me again. That is all I got to look forward to now as updates are dead.
