Do you do you own seasonal tire rotations? If so, how?

Steve, take a look at this:
IMG_4505.jpeg

The black piece is the battery frame, which is where the lift points are. Just watch professor Kelly’s battery removal video and it becomes very clear. I didn’t use “battery case” rather battery frame. That entire black frame drops and the battery cells are contained within it.
Ah, I see I misunderstood what I was taught. Thanks. ??

I'm trying to figure out how people rotate the tires DIY. Because you'll have to lift one corner on each side. My dealer only charges $30 for the rotation so it's just not worth the time/effort to do it.
I just put the car up on car stands and rotate per the pattern the owner’s manual. If you don’t have a lift or a load spreader and car stands, probably better off going to your dealer to rotate if their price is good and their availability is instant. ??

I've done the one tire at a time method of swapping/rotating summer/winter tires several times. Just pay attention to your jack points... they are not the lowest part of the car. Body or battery damage could occur and neither would be cheap.

A lot of people use pucks. I never have and am not totally sure of the need? It creates a cushion for the car but just creates a slipping/failure point? I'm careful with my jack placement and use a floor jack so the jack wheels allow a little movement as the car lifts. I'm sure someone will scream "blasphemy!" and give a 100 reasons why I'm doing it wrong. I look forward to it... it's the second best way I learn. (first best is screwing it up. Hard to forget mistakes)

Be sure to check your tires too. My summer tires can rotate per the manual but my winters are directional and only rotate front to back, no crossing.

When we first got our MME 11/22 I went to America's Tires/Discount Tire and bought a road hazard warranty for them. It includes free flat repair but more useful is the free rotation and rebalancing every 5k mi. I make an appointment first thing in the morning and am out of there in ~30min. They are also fine with my checking out the MME with the tires off to check the brake pads, etc...

Worth scheduling even if you didn't buy from them. They did a wheel/tire swap free for me last week, the car is new to me and I've never had it in to them before. I didn't ask for the balance, but imagine there would have probably been a charge for that since they didn't sell me the tires.

I have bought from them for other cars, and they are also willing to price match. Flat repairs should be free for anyone too.
