I know my coax was loose. I haven’t punched the headliner to see if I can piss it off again lately, but when it was at the dealer, I have zero idea what they did to the car, other than follow a gravel truck for their test drive. ( But 1.3 was kicking out as I described before they had it )

Did you go from 1.0 to 1.3?
Sort of. Sorry about being a bit opaque.
I do hope your issue gets resolved because properly working 1.3 is very nice.

Naah, a 50A supply won’t need more than 12A at 120V unless it’s supremely inefficient. I do have a 5-20 outlet in my garage for my PL6100 though. ??
Agreed. I bought a variable 9V-15V 50A power supply and it's got a 15A fuse, so unless it has an efficiency near 40% there's no problem.

Does anyone know if 1.3 has fewer approved roads for the new features compared to earlier versions? I've only had 1.3 for a few days now but I've noticed that the lane change feature seems to be completely non-existent on the Loop 202 but becomes available the second I merge onto the I10.

Also I'd like to ask how others feel about the improved lane centering. The 1.0 version has a right bias but the new version seems to have an extreme left bias for me. It hasn't left the lane, but it appears to really like being within 1-3 inches of the lane markings on the left.

azerik, before you punch the headliner again, try this. Your symptoms with the camera fault are enough like mine that it might be worth a shot. I couldn't get BC to work for more than a few minutes before I tightened up the camera. Hitting even a small bump would cause it to cancel. Now it's solid.

As a 2021 owner outside of warranty with a Select that does not support BlueCruise seems like an 140min update I should skip. More hazard than benefit.
As I posted earlier my '21 Select (with no BlueCruise hardware) install went fine and it seems good after driving a few days. The adaptive cruise and lane keeping seems to work the same. It is possible that this IPMA update includes other fixes than the BlueCruise update. Given that Ford likely chooses to put minimal info in the release note we will probably never know.

2021 Mustang Mach-E Owners,

You may have noticed that we have started to roll out the final update to enable BlueCruise 1.3 on BlueCruise-equipped 2021 model year Mustang Mach-E vehicles! Please keep in mind, as this rollout happens not all vehicles will receive the update at the same time. For example, your neighbor with the same model year vehicle could get the update at a different time than you do.

BlueCruise 1.3 helps you stay engaged in hands-free mode longer, including around curves and narrow lanes. It also builds on BlueCruise 1.2 which includes Lane Change Assist allowing you to change lanes by tapping the turn signal and once the path is clear and In-Lane Repositioning which helps keep the vehicle in its lane while subtly shifting position away from vehicles in adjacent lanes.

We want to thank you again for your patience.

The team at Ford
Received the update. Subscribed and ready. It will NOT enable in the settings.

Congrats to the 2021 owners who want BC and have the hardware for it. ??
I have a 2021 and received the update also.
In the message it states that BC will not work on all models.
I havn't been on a highway yet, so I will have to wait to try it.
I thought there was a charge for BC, is this just a tryout?

Downloaded and failed.

It has been 3 days and it has not tried again.

I drove 256 miles with a partially working BC 1.0 after it failed. It dropped out more than when it was new.
Underwhelming at best.

Ford Mustang Mach-E It's here: BlueCruise 1.3 to 2021 Model Year Mach-E 1000020942

I have the exact same status on my 2021 MME. Showed up on 3/17. I called the OTA team twice. First time was told everything looks OK but the download was just cancelled for some unknown reason. Called a few days later and was told it could be a modem problem, bring it to my dealer and tell them to open a TAC Ticket. Rep couldn't say whether Ford would cover the service or not. I doubt it's my modem, it connects fine to my WiFi, all remote functions work and streaming apps work.

I have not noticed any different behavior in my Bluecruise 1.0 functionality though.

I saw this thread a few days ago, went out to the car and it had downloaded on my 2021 Job 1. I chose to install manually and it worked flawlessly. I used it yesterday and it worked great - hard to tell too much of a difference on my drive to work and back, but the auto lane change was active.

Thanks, Ford!
