I'm hearing rumors of employee pricing on '25 MME's starting today...? Around here, some dealers were discounting '24's 20-30%, which is why we opted in. You might have to shop further from home, but you should be able to get the best deal on a '24, if you can find one. Just really depends on your priorities... deals are available if you are diligent. Good luck! ?

My dealer already agreed to a discount off MSRP, so with price protection I wonder if I'm better off taking that plus the previous $7500 lease cash and $1250 Exclusive cash offer that was available when I placed my order?

Wait if you can. I have a 2024 and have a bit of buyer's remorse looking at the 2025. What you value will vary from what I value but...
  • I don't use my Frunk as much as I thought I would, so loss of volume isn't a huge deal.
  • The heat pump can't hurt and it is likely to help.
  • Vented seats. Damn I wish I had vented seats.
  • The new charging screen... I am left to hope that Ford pushes it down to earlier model years.
And if the tariffs happen, and if your budget is blown, there are lots of used MMEs on the market.
If new cars go up considerably, then used ones will go up as well.

I have TWO 2024 Premium AWD Long Range Mach-E's: One Eruption Green, one White
A lot of people hate the stiff/ bouncy suspension on the 24 and before, including myself at first (I got used to it and also run at 38lbs). And the heat pump should help the range.

I must have missed this. What new charging screen?

We drove several 24s today and really liked them. I noticed the bouncy Suspension but the wife didn’t seem to mind. The few quotes we’ve been able to get 24s weren’t much better than 25s so unless some dealers surprise us with an aggressive quote, we will wait for a 25. I figure a 24 needs to be at Least 5 grand cheaper.

It'll be interesting to see what "liberated" MSRPs look like...

update, we've decided to get a 2025 from In Transit dealer stock. Noone was really aggressive on their 24 inventory and we felt like the 25 upgrades were worth the wait. Most dealers are expecting them from "any day now" to "a couple weeks". We used Grangers quote as leverage and already got a couple quotes at 6% off MSRP.

I've been really shocked how many dealers simply don't respond to an inquiry or won't provide a quote. They cling to the old dealer model of getting you into the dealership and wearing you down.

Since there aren't really any finance incentive beyond the employee pricing marketing BS, I'm gonna look at leasing to take advantage of the $4000 lease incentive and see if it makes sense.

The 6% off MSRP is what the current "Employee Pricing" promotion yields straight from Ford. Those dealers weren't doing anything for you on their own.

This is only partially correct. The quotes I have received thus far were between 5-6% off initially PLUS various doc fees, dealer prep fees, and closing fees they try and tack on to the price. The "employee pricing" event places no restrictions on dealer fees and add ons. This is where the Granger quote really helps since their fees are so low. If you or someone else knows a better strategy to get a better price, I would like to hear it.
