How do I order the wings or rotor blades option?

I have been starring at the "Ground Speed" for quite some time wondering when it was going to take off and show its air speed, but so far nothing.
Then I realized that for that it would need either wings or a Heli rotor setup.

So, I guess I must have missed that option when I got my Mach-E. :ROFLMAO:

I hope you were using Bluecruise while staring at the dashboard. It's safer and more interesting to look out the front window.

So it's a traditional Mustang nod to the P-51 Mustang that it derived its name from.

In order to get it off the ground, you'll need the P-51's Rolls Royce Merlin V-12. You can pick up a rebuilt, airworthy one for about $2.5mil these days - or add the wings and body for another mil if you want.

This has been discussed many times. It’s a nod to a historic military aircraft - the P51 Mustang ?‍?

Oh, that never really occurred to me. That makes perfect sense. Thanks.

I personally just thought it was some programmers inside joke.

But still aren't we supposed to have our flying cars by now?

(Actually, I'm very glad we don't, can you imagine all the crazy drivers whipping around? I hope by the time we do have flying cars; AI is doing the flying)

Is this what you had in mind?

Yeah! That is better than I was thinking "self-steering", instead of the "manual wings". Now that is what I really call "Blue cruise".

Actually, that’s the idea behind all those flying taxis you see being pitched. The ones that look like oversized drones? Those are intended to be pilotless.

It’s on the wrong side of the road (unless it’s a British Mustang Mach E!)
I took it that he is starting to pass someone. But given the wings, I think he should stay in his lane and pass over the other car.

It’s weather banking into the wind. It’s driven by a pilot thinking the lane line was the centerline. ;)

I just love yawing into the wind and then hearing the tires bark on contact. ??

There are actually a lot of people around here who drive that way. ?‍♂?

I wonder if we can get the Ford Assistant to announce “V1” then a few mph later “Rotate” if we’re going way too fast? That’d be a mod I’d do. ;)

Not that I’d ever go that fast. Just an intellectual exercise just for fun. Yeah .
