I'm NOT installing Rally springs in my GT. I generally lower my cars. These are for John who sent them here since I'll be helping with the install. This is going to be an interesting review. Right now he has the rear Koni shocks I modded to fit the Mach-E to decrease the bounce. We are going to put the OEM shocks back in after installing the Rally springs to compare the difference.
Ah gotcha, I forgot they went to the shop ?

I think John also has a need for his car to be a little higher due to his driveway. It will be interesting to see how the A fronts with the B rears and the OEM shocks work. ??

Yes, I believe when he enters his driveway he's only on three wheels. ?

This is the reason I'm following this thread. I have an incline that can be difficult and if it aids in a smoother ride as well that would add to the justification of the expense.

It is true - the right front tire is a good 3-4 inches (yes, inches) off the ground when I drive into the garage. I think this is why Ford shows GROUND SPEED on my speedo. ?

I'm really looking forward to getting these springs on my car. Not sure I'll love the surprised look raised Mach Es tend to have, but I plan to fill some of that extra space when I next need new tires (which might not be too far off, given how the tread looks). But if the ride smooths out over our terrible streets, it'll be worth it. And unless we decide we need to get the Koni's back in there at some point, there could be a lightly used pair available for someone else. ?

If anyone is wondering where I got the -B rear springs, it was from Ford OEM Parts Online. As Mark said, I ordered the -A version and got the -B version. They still show the -A version on their website for the price I paid: $72.67 each. They also list the -B version on their website for $256.53, so be sure to order the -A version!!

Interestingly, when I placed the order, all emails were from "Modern Chevrolet". Maybe those Chevy guys don't know B from A, but I'm not complaining! ?

Update: Rally rear springs on the way!

So I put in an order for these springs (RK9Z-5560-A) with www.oemfordpartsdirect.com on 4/17. Having no luck anywhere else, including where I originally ordered them from, www.fordpartspros.com, I didn't think this was going to happen. Until today (4/22), the order status only showed "In Progress". I kept waiting to get the cancellation email, but it never came. I decided not to reach out to them in any way and just let the process run its course. Well today, I got the order shipment email so I should be getting them soon.

If you're still trying to get these rear springs, I would put in an order with them now and then see what happens. Because I didn't communicate with them other than placing the order, I have no idea if they had them on hand already or if they have a secret source that still has inventory. Either way, you have nothing to lose so it's worth a shot! Good luck!

I initially ordered from www.fordpartspros.com too and they canceled the rears but I decided to have them ship me the fronts anyway. All in all I can't complain how this as worked out - especially since I got the -B rears for the -A price!

Does anyone have recommendations for a shop to swap the springs in Nor Cal? Preferably near Fremont.

For anyone keeping score at home, the rears showed up on Friday and they were the A's. Probably the last set anywhere. Thought for sure they would've been swapped out B's.

You may have the last set off A's and I might have the first (cheap) set of B's... (But I have a full set of BS!)

Can't wait for your review after you get it all installed! I'm waiting to put some scratch together and get the Eibach sway bars and then get them and the springs installed altogether. So maybe a little while for me. In the meantime, I'll live vicariously through you ?

My install is planned for May 12th. In the interim I need to fire up my Physics Toolkit app and go record the ride on a bunch of SF streets so I can do before and after comparisons.
