I wanted my '24 GT to look a bit different in the front than my '21 GT did.
I ordered a custom grille from Bruce at BSKT with no pony and had my detail guy wrap it with the OEM GT designed vinyl from StrucknDesign. Ran that for a few months then decided the front end was a bit blah so wanted to add a custom painted Ford oval emblem (Glacier Gray/Black). The issue was, the oval emblem needed a flat surface to mount to. Also was tired of the wrap which had a slight gold tint to it I didn't like so removed it and had my body shop fabricate a flat mounting surface for the emblem and paint it gloss black. My detail guy applied PPF and I installed the oval emblem and looked great for about 10 months.
Got tired of the large gloss black grille and wanted to go back to a wrap. I found one that StrucknDesign had that had thinner lines and it even has a glacier gray tint to it. Super happy about that. Had the gloss black grille wrapped and PPF'd with the new design vinyl and also went with a different Ford emblem. Still custom painted in Glacier gray/Gloss black but 6" instead of a 7" with one less oval ring on the end. I really like this one and think it will be my last mod to the grille.
Pony-less grille with OEM GT design vinyl wrap.
Installing gloss black grille.
Added the custom painted 7" Ford oval emblem
The latest grille wrap. Thiner mesh design than the first one and in a Glacier Gray color. Blends very well with the body color. Smaller 6" custom painted Ford emblem looks better than the larger one.
This is the difference between the previous 7" and the new 6" Ford oval emblem I am using
Changed the rear up a bit too. When I first got the car, I eliminated the rear wiper, added a gloss black vinyl wrap full width connecting the taillights and replaced the GT emblem with a custom painted Ford oval emblem. Recently I applied a light blue tint film on the bottom part of taillights and license plate to mute the bright white.
