Interesting. I tried checking the charge level in FordPass and it didn't understand what I wanted.

Yeah, it does that for me too. But I'd like to tell Siri to give me the charge level for my MME without my needing to manually selecting FordPass instead of Tesla (which is my friend's Tesla that I've used in the past).

Delete the Tesla app, both FordPass and Tesla have identical charge level Siri requests.

This is lame. If I want to open the control center to start my car why not just open FordPass to do the same thing? Why go through the extra step

It’s just another option. You can open the control center without unlocking your phone.

I did add the 3 FordPass controls in the iOS control panel and selected the MachE as the default.

I have lock/unlock on the control panel and ford pass on the unlock home screen. Are there more?

I’m a fan of the control center commands. Used them twice already… once on the school run and again for ballet carpool.

When Travel Buddy ? and Spinner ? are outpacing their old man to the car, I can just swipe down from the corner and do the necessary. It’s unlocked by the time they get there.

Well I thought that worked, but sadly it give me my iPhone's battery level! ?

However I then tried "Hey Siri what's my car battery level in FordPass" and that worked!

Opening FordPass is the extra step.

I can slide to Control Center from anywhere without opening or closing whatever app I'm in. Even from the lock screen.

Plus adding the Action Button functionality means I can start the car without even looking at the phone.

While you can access from control centre anywhere you can also make a shortcut and have buttons on your Home Screen. No need to to open control centre or food pass.

Ford Pass is slow to show current level of charge about 3-4 hours late sometimes. Is there any way to force an update - my underground garage parking has WiFi.

Do we know whether creating such a view on one of the screens will frequently wake up the car to fetch the actual battery status? if this the case, I will remove this immediately, as I don't want to risk that my 12V battery gets drained by regular status polling all day long.
