Drivers Seat Tears in 2022 Premium

My Mach-E which is less than 3 years old has around 8 small microtears in the drivers seat on the side of the seat that the door is on. Assuming its just from getting in and out but I feel that a seat in a 60k car should last longer than 2.5 years. Any change I get warranty to cover repair replacement?

I just the other day noticed 2 “microtears” in the perforated left seat bolster of the drivers seat myself. Mine’s a 2021 premium 4-1/4 years old with 68k miles. I’m a little surprised as well. I’m not a big guy, and am pretty easy on the seat.

My 2022 is doing the same. I just added seat covers for the front seats..

Mine’s out of 3/36. If you are under 36k miles, you could certainly try.

As this seems to be occurring with multiple Mach Es, I see a design flaw here that Ford should address

Same here - '22 Premium with 88k kilometers. It bugs me enough that I will get it fixed under my extended warranty. I've also used Katzkin seat covers previously and may look into a full replacement with (gasp!) leather.

2022 Premium... Just went and looked, and sonofa!!!! I too have these, driver's seat, on the door side.
