If you already have a 30amp outlet that will be accessible, and you plan on getting a 24amp charger, all you need to do is determine that the wiring is correct and that the outlet is heavy duty for the constant load.

For my Ford Power Promise installation, Qmerit had State Electric Company quote the job.
They are located in Holly. The day of the install the technician showed up in his Transit E work van.
The job was completed in three hours and they thoroughly labeled all breakers and installed components for the city inspector. A few days later State Electric called me to schedule the inspection and when the Novi city inspector came by, he appreciated the clean installation.

They really knew their stuff about installing EV chargers telling me differences between the Ford Pro charger and a GM installation they did the day before.
