I have a GT reservation and got the same message as OP with the 2022 reference.
My reservation was an early one (first 24 hours), so I don’t think that’s the correlation.
On the one hand, it’s good to see renewed confirmation that deliveries still are expected to start in the summer, and it is good that they expect to have them done by early fall.
On the other, I don’t recall if we’d heard it was going to be “late” summer before.
It seems odd to me that they...
You’re right — the Ford site actually appears a bit conflicting and confusing. I see that memory seat is shown as O for one of the packages, but if you scroll down to Interior Features, it shows as S for the GT.
But I also see that indeed the cargo cover shows S in one place but as O in Interior...

Some of your info is not correct. For example, range for GT PE is estimated at 235, and the specs for the GT show seat memory and cargo cover as Standard, not Optional.
I don’t think that’s correct. Ford has consistently said target is 3.8 for the GT and 3.5 “with options” (translation: with the optional Performance package). So no indication of underdelivering yet.
480 hp and 634 lb-ft does seem like an improvement over the original specs (even if the target...
I think what is on that sheet is an all-or-nothing package. In other words, you can’t have the additional performance of the Performance package and not get the magneride.
However, again the standard vs Performance package has nothing to do with glass roof selection. Neither comes with it...
As far as I know, the initial input below is still in line with what we can expect differences to be.
To clarify, metal roof is not a difference between the GT Performance and non-Performance — both come standard with metal roof.
It has the GT Performance wheels but doesn’t seem to have the more silver/gray front “grill” of the Performance package.
I wonder if this is a base GT with Performance wheels, or a GT Performance but with Ford changing its mind on the Performance grill. I hope the latter — I prefer the darker...
True on those plus much more in standard equipment (pano roof, heated steering wheel, heated and cooled front and rear seats, towing of 11,000 lbs, adjustable ground clearance of 8 to 14”, etc), which is why I have a deposit on it as well as the GT.
But it is priced a bit higher ($75k... not the...
